MARILYN SHUFFLER

It went well, and my house looks really terrific. I enjoy the interior decoration every day. I found the job of redecorating the house WAY too intimidating to do on my own, and working with Marilyn made it a pleasure rather than a frightening, overwhelming project that I procrastinated taking on for a couple of years. I was totally involved in the decorating process with Marilyn, and in fact, many of the pieces of furniture and carpets are totally my own choices. But Marilyn was invaluable in helping me pull everything together. For instance in the living room, she helped me to select the wall color and draperies and couches to go with the other furniture and carpets that I had selected. Marilyn is very good at psyching out a person's taste and working within those parameters. She is always amenable to my saying that I don't like something she has selected or find it acceptable. She is resolute that she "will not let me make a major mistake." So that is reassuring too. Marilyn has an upbeat and pleasant personality. It is a pleasure to spend time with her shopping and decorating. And of course she does all the measuring and ordering from the vendors. And if there are any mistakes, she works with the vendors to correct them.
