Simple Moves LLC out of Union! If EVER your moving... NEVER EVER EVER USE Expedite Moving & Storage in Rahway!! Ask me WHY- ?because they they are con artists they do these fake virtual estimates then the movers come and talk bad about the company and say they can save you X amount of $$ of dollars if you give us a good tip.. But to get the reduced price they got a callback to the manager who is fake because there’s nobody on the phone and then you have to pay cash. Also when you’re dealing with a long distance move you want to know all the details upfront which you can never seem to get a straight answer it’s always fast talk BS WALKS and that’s what we did!! . Or you ask to spk to I owner/the boss and then we were told the boss doesn’t answer the phone + doesn’t return phone calls and doesn’t talk to customers. The best part if you don’t use their service to remove your items from storage you have to pay a minimum of four hours which could run you over $600 to get your items and don’t forget to pay cash because credit card will cost you more! Horrible unprofessional

I asked to make sure the truck wasn't going to be loaded and then unloaded, but it was. After the truck was loaded the price doubled.

They did a great job! Carefully packed all my belongings, no damages. Highly Recommend.

I found them on this site and they contacted me quickly in late January for an end of March move from PA to NY. The day of they showed up and the crew didn't expect to do the packing but that was the service I requested in my request for a quote and what I spoke to the sales person about. They didn't plan for it. The original quote was $2,100 but the final price was $4,300. The guy told me on the phone the extra for full packing would be $700 which I agreed to. It seems to me they low balled the quote because I wasn't aware that the time quote included for the crew was drive time which was 3 hrs away. I thought that was the packing time. The crew, although courteous, did a terrible job packing up. Some things were going in the storage pod in the driveway and some things going into the new place. As I unpacked I saw how badly they had packed everything. They had no regard for any of my things except my television set. Otherwise, they literally just threw things in a box. One box had a pair of my eyeglasses, free standing weights just thrown in with a painting of mine that wasn't protected in any way with a large bean bag ottoman thrown in on top. I had all of my nice costume jewelry on an organizer in my closet and they took it all off the organizer and just threw it all into a box. I have no idea where the organizer is and I dread having to untangle that whole mess. I still can't find my computer screen which I told them was one of the first things I'd need. Couldn't find my underwear and found that they didn't take the clothes out of the dresser and then dresser was going into storage. I asked for my toaster over and the cart next to it to be packed to go into the new place and they packed everything except the toaster over trays that were on the cart that I need for the oven. They packed up the kitchen in such large boxes that I can't move them without a trolly and they are blocking other items I will need to check to find what I need. I sent an email to the guy who I arranged my move with but he hasn't even bothered to respond. I told him that his service ended up costing me more than my original move down to Philly. I feel like I've been bamboozled regarding the price. I don't know if they are trying to increase income during this Corona incident but it's left a very bad taste in my mouth. If you use them, get it in writing what they're understanding is because their initial agreement is vague and having a long conversation about your needs might end with you hearing the morning of your move "Must have been a miscommunication" and a very extortive price following that phrase.
