DMC Di Dolce Mechanical Contractors, LLC.

I have been waiting since 6/5/25 for my AC to be repaired. I have a contract with American Home Shield and DMC is apparently the only company in NJ that repairs our AC system. Tara, who rarely answers the phone, also rarely returns calls. I have called over a dozen times. We were told that a part needed to be ordered for the Lennox condenser and that it would take at a maximum two weeks. That was 6/23/25 and then 7/7/25 it became a three week time frame. Tara scheduled an appointment for today, 7/17/25, but the tech never showed up. I spoke to Tara at 2:00 pm today and she said the tech would be here by 6:00 pm. When nobody showed up I called DMC and once again got Tara's voicemail. First let me say that the part that DMC claims would take three weeks can be ordered on Amazon and would be received within five days. What kind of company are you running? Do you not want to service American Home Shield customers? Do you even care about your customers? I need this resolved.

I don’t write reviews cause i dont care usually. But with these guys i had to warn people. Called out to look at my condenser unit which i knew was old and needed to be replaced. Gave me some run around about also needing to replace the evaporator coil when i knew this wasnt the case. Quoted 10k for the job, 5k in parts, 5k in labor, i knew this was some BS. The next day a guy comes out and says he can do the exact same job for 700-2k all in. Don’t use these guys, some people are just scumbags.

I used American Home Shield. I set up an appointment on July 14th to come on July 23rd, their earliest appointment. They came on the 23rd, claimed to fix the issue, but didn’t fix it. I then had to get a new appointment for the 31st, they did not show up for the appointment. I did not receive a phone call or voice mail that day from the company I and was told that the service person tried to call. Either they used the incorrect number (which is difficult as AHS provided them with the details), or they were being untruthful. My phone shows no call from them or any other contractor. They refused to prioritize and work on my AC but instead sent me back to AHS. I had to endure a 69 minute call with AHS, but finally got them to assign a new company. I would avoid this company at all cost!

They refused to prioritize and work on my AC but instead sent me back to AHS (it is July and 90 plus degrees). Horrible customer service.

Run from this company!! They are a huge scam! Told insurance company dog peed on ac condenser and causes 17k of damage. Really there wasn’t a dog that lived here. I just moved in and my dogs are behind a fence. Ofc insurance company denied the work. All of this because we didn’t give them out business.

HORRIBLE customer service! Called to clear up confusion about time of service call and was yelled at by Denise. She has a horrible attitude and hung up on me.. Then didn't answer when I called back. Won't give my business to a company who allows an employee to speak to customers that way.
