How did it go?...Absolutely incredible. Best contractor I ever hired from Angies List. Responsive, knowledgeable, extremely fair and does not try to sell you anything you really don't need. Bob and his dad Jim went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!!!

Bob is awesome. 2nd time i have used him for a furnace replacement. This one was for my 87 year old mom who had NO heat and needed a furnace immediately. During a VERY busy time where no other plumber could have delivered Bob managed to move things around and get it done the next day at a very reasonable price.

Can't say enough good things about Bob Major Heating&Cooling. We needed to replace the condenser but due to COVID-19, the make and model that we want is in back order with no confirmation as to when the unit is available from the factory, could be a month or two. We spoke to numerous HVAC contractors and they all said the same thing. We went with Bob mainly for the quote and candor...and we were so that that we did. Not only that Bob is on the low end of the quotes that we received, he is about 15% less then the bigger companies in the area, we was able to secure and install the unit for us in 2 weeks. While most of the other contractors tried to sell us on another unit, Bob understood and agreed with why we wanted the particular make and model. I dealt many with Bob and got the sense that he did his best for us...unlike the sense I got with other contractors that I had experience with in the past.

Terrific. Fit me into their schedule in less than 24 hours to repair my a/c. It broke during a horrible heat wave. They arrived with the intent to fix and only if absolutely necessary to replace. Explained all items being replaced.

Bob is very prompt, professional and fair. He responded quickly and went above-and-beyond to bring an old-ish water heater back to life vs. other plumbers who just pressure you to buy a new one. Will definitely call him again. Tip: compliment his nice pens and he might give you one.

Moved into a house that had a Kenmore water heater still under warranty. Water heater started leaking and Sears customer service was the worst I've experienced! They ultimately had me wait four days to tell me that they no longer serviced/carried my model and were buying me out of the warranty. Bob Majors was at my home within hours to confirm replacement was needed. While too late to replace the day he came, he was back the following morning and I had hot water within a couple of hours. He was very professional and answered my many questions. I would not hesitate hiring him again.

I am so happy with the service that Bob Major performed for us today. Especially on this cold day, he was able to come the same day we called. We never have to wait and when he comes to do the job he makes sure it is done in a timely matter. And that it is fixed the same day. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs their heat/AC fixed.

It originally started as a service call referred by an oil guy. I had a "so called friend" install a brand new oil unit a year ago trying to save money and cut corners. This turned out to be a nightmare and more costly for me. My oil furnace was installed incorrectly. 8 months later after a number of issues spiraled into chaos I finally called Bob who was recommended by word of mouth. I explained my nightmare and he was able to diagnose and solve the issue. He took his time to see what the problem was and how to fix it. He was so knowledgeable and explained that this unit had so many issues from the improper install. Since my so-called friend installed it incorrectly, it was more cost effective to do an oil to gas conversion. My furnace was shot and I totally was foolish to spend the money again on another oil furnace since I have gas in the house as well. Bob installed a high efficiency gas furnace for me. He also addressed my duct-work and he applied sheet-metal work for my furnace because I had hot forced air. If money is an issue there is always a great finance plan which I used and worked out great. I now have a warrantied, worry free gas high efficiency furnace with no nightmares! I wish I would have called him from the first day I was having an issue. Lesson Learned!

The service was good, I had him many times in the past, it was very busy time for him, But I can't complaint, he is doing much as he could to make my furnace work again, I was satisfied with his work.

"Thanks for the review. There was a few issues with your furnace. The control board was the original problem that cause the inconsistent firing when furnace was heating. The thermostat cause the lock out at certain times of of day that we could not override. I replaced the flame sensor for free while performing The furnace cleaning. it was very pitted. Glad everything is working good now."
