Berger Audio Video Solutions
About us
Berger Audio Video Solutions is a Home Theater Consultation, Sales and Installation business stemming from a love and passion for Home Theater. From years of employment from and the subsequent knowledge gained through Best Buy and their Geek Squad Brand, we now offer a full range of audio and video products, solutions and services. Whether it's a simple, standard TV Mounting, wiring your new home or business or providing and installing your dream system, we do it all. We are here to act as a consultant. We will listen to what it is you want to do and your ideas on how to get it done. If what you want to do makes sense, is the best option and thus will achieve the best end result, we will move forward. If it is not, we will explain why, and offer a different solution that is more engineered for your needs, even if that means we don't do any work at all, or if the new plan of action saves you a ton of money, thus having us take home less. Any and every job worth doing is worth doing one way and one way only: the right way. We are in business to make money, but we all work extremely hard for our money, and no one should ever be taken advantage of, for any reason. With that said, the ideal solution to what the end goal is may also cost more than what the original plan was, but no matter what, the plan will be honest, completely explained, and all will be comfortable and confident with it. We won't move forward otherwise. Award winning.

"While I appreciate the great review, we haven't worked in Brooklyn in years now...unless the client has a New Jersey address that isn't listed, this wasn't us."
"It was a pleasure working with you. I truly appreciate the kind words; we do try our best, luckily most of the time it works out really, really well. Thank you again for the opportunity, we really appreciate it."
"I believe I remember this situation well...we hit what is called a "fire-stop", which is a horizontal beam that makes it difficult to hide the wires...in this case, it stopped us altogether from being able to hide the wires...I did cut a hole behind his TV stand as well as behind where his TV is mounted. I have since changed how I do this: I now cut a hole behind where the TV will be mounted, which is out of site either way, and send my fishing rods down the wall to make sure there are no fire-stops...if there is a fire-stop, we don't open behind the TV stand so there are no extra holes...at least one hole does have to be made to send the fishing rod down through. The unfortunate thing is is there is no way in advance to know if you will find out of these fire-stops. You can use a conventional stud finder, but they produce a lot of false positives and don't always tell you that there are obstacles in the wall. It's unfortunately an open up the wall and see what's what situation. We are always learning and improving, and this is one such situation. The install was a pleasure either way."
"To be fair, I do understand to an extent where [Member Info Removed] is coming from. However, there are a few points here that should be addressed. Whenever I go to install something, I look at everything that exists and figure out the best way to wire it, as sometimes the client doesn't always have it set up for the most efficient and best outcome. That's what I did here, and all seemed to be working well when I left. [Member Info Removed] contacted me a few days later to let me know the Bose system wasn't working - I also didn't charge him to install that. One speaker was working and one wasn't. When he called me, I was away on vacation and told him I would touch base when I returned. He agreed and I went back to vacation. However, he messaged me a few days later to let me know he took it upon himself to wire it the way he wanted it to be wired and expressed his lack of satisfaction. I respect the fact that he chose to do it himself, but I was fully prepared to go back out and make it work the way he wanted it to work. We later found out that his TV had some caveats that neither of us realized. For example...his surround sound didn't work through the surround sound output on the TV...apparently that output is ONLY for if you use the old coaxial connection on the TV. Regardless, I don't think it's entirely accurate that the service gets put down because he elected to do it himself as opposed to waiting for me to make it right. Regarding the face plate, that part is my fault, I planned to install one when I returned to fix the rest. I wasn't trying to hide anything from him, a hole has to be made in 2 places when you hide wires of any kind: a place for them to go in and a place for them to go out. The input was taking care of as it was on the shelf and the output was behind his sub woofer. Had he given me the opportunity to fix it to his satisfaction, he would have been completely satisfied with the service as that is my ultimate goal with every client, every time."
"As happy as I am that this client is happy with his service provider, I was not the provider in this scenario as I am not an electrician."
