"This client requested that perma-sand in early spring when the weather was in the 40-50's during the day and below freezing at night add to that the frequent raining. The perma-sand was properly installed but did not the harden due to the temperature and rain. We recognized this issue and advised the client that we would come back to re-do the job when the temperature was consistently above 75 degrees and no rain in the forecast for at least 3 days. The client insisted that we come back on a relative cold period with rain 2 days away, despite our objections and after showing him the perma-sand specs, the rain pattern and temperatures close freezing at night (at night 35 F) . He indicated that he would take the risk. We removed the old sand and redo the job with new sand but unfortunately, this did not harden again. We understood that the client was not happy and agreed to come out a 3rd time to do the job but only if the temperature was above 75 degrees and no rain for 3 straight days and client pay for sand. The second proposal was that we would remove the sand and partially reimburse. His response was not to worry about it, he already removed the sand, and he would work with HA to resolve the issue.
