I just remember their pricing was fair. I don't remember what it was. It was quite a bit of work. They were prompt, knew what they were doing and were professional. They also were not afraid to climb the trees, which, when some people get older they are wary of climbing the trees anymore.
"Hi [Member name removed], I'm truly very sorry that I missed our appointment on Saturday. I called you twice to set up an appointment, and when we finally spoke on Wednesday, we set up an appointment for Saturday. However, when I gave you the time and date I was actually on a backhoe working and I admit that I completely forgot to write the appointment down. Once again, I'm very sorry for my mistake, and I do hope that my oversight will not deter you from using our services in the future. If you do decide to use our services and you are satisfied with the results, I would be happy to take 10% off of the final bill. Thank you for your consideration. Al P"
"[member name removed], My apologies for the delayed response. I wish to further explain the situation. First: When I gave you the estimate on July 24th, there were already many weeds in the garden. However, you did not call to set up the work until September 7th. That is 47 days later - 47 days for the weeds to continue growing and for new weeds to emerge. Also, you included a portion of the garden that was not included in the original estimate. When I went to check on my crew, they told me that your wife had provided water for them on three occasions. I knocked on the door to thank her for her generosity. At this time, she proceeded to tell me how hard-working my crew was, even though the weather was very hot on the day that we were working. Second: Actually, we did in fact come back on Monday but the pavers were still wet from the weekend storm. I knocked on the door at 10:30 and I did not get an answer. The sand was not outside either. I sent my crew again on Tuesday and when they got there, no one answered the door once again. At this point, I called you and you did not answer my call, nor did you ever call me back. Third: Concerning the payment - there was a balance of $150.00 that I told you I would collect when the work was completed on Monday, and only then would I collect the final payment. I still did not consider our work finished, but when I tried to contact you several times (both by telephone and in person), I received no response. Since you had previously finished work yourself, I assumed that you had decided to finish this project yourself as well. Clearly, there were misunderstandings, but I think it is only fair for me to explain my side of the situation. Thank you for your business."
"Member, it was a pleasure working with you at your home. Thank you very much for using our company. Will see you next time."
"I'm sorry that you fell the way. And this review, all 560 words of it was because you did not get a free mower out this deal. Wow!!!! My track record speaks for itself. Anybody that they had a landscape company can add the numbers and see that my price was more than fair. The other companies fail to show twice and his crew was only two people. And yes we were late but my crew was a 4 person crew plus me I wasn't there most of the time. But I did not charge you for me being there. Even do were also hourly and arrive 9:15 we stayed there until 6:15 at no additional charge. And after we were done, you were so happy and complemented my crew and me give a hug and a kiss. I just don't get it, we did more that we agreed on, not charge you extra for Saturday even do my crew was in overtime rate. Not charging for disposal not. We planted over $200.00 worth of plants that you forget to mention. clean the ivy out 3 large pine trees, so your new house would look nice as well as re-set and aliened a 10' walkway twice because you did not like the way we did it the first time. You gave a sad story as bait. I got more the $3500.00 worth of work and still wanted a free mower? And there is much more that we did but I don’t have the time to listed all. Mrs. Brooks have a wonderful day and enjoy your new home. We left your house beautiful for you. And we know this because you told me so."
