Johan Boot Tiling

Johan was friendly, professional, worked clean and the job came out beautifully.

Mr Boot was excellent.  Gave us an estimate which was right on target.  Did the work in the time specified.  Cleaned up
afterwards. It looks great! He is coming back in a few weeks to do some additional work.  The highest recommendation.

Johan did a great job with all my projects that required tiling. He did my kitchen floors, kitchen backsplash, foyer, main bath floor and tub enclosure, and master bath floor and shower (separate times). He and his son are great at what they do because they pay attention to detail. They helped suggest a tile layout for the bathrooms. They always clean up after themselves when the day is over. I recommend them.

It was a positive experience. He was really responsive. He was transparent; he wasn’t trying to get something over on me. His prices are very fair. He did an excellent job. He kept me up to date for days that he didn’t make it to work. He was very professional. He was good all around.

My husband and I wanted to change the tile backsplash in the kitchen. I called johan boot tiling for an estimate. Johan came on time and let us know the amount on the day he said he would. He and his son (family business) took down the old tile and installed the new and also did a few repairs on the grout in our bathroom. They were professional in every way. We couldn't be happier! We would highly recommend them!

Responded promptly to request for estimate. Johan began job on time installing tile in one day. His son returned the next day and grouted tile, and Johan came the following day to seal and clean tile and make sure we were satisfied with the job.
We appreciated that this is a family business and were very satisfied with the work. In fact, we plan on using them again for other tile work.

Johan is the ultimate gentleman, in every respect. He is an old world trained craftsman and conducts every aspect of his business according to those rules. The work is thorough, careful, and beautifully carried out. His manner is friendly and respectful, and he is very accommodating. And, he really knows his stuff.

From start to finish Johan was great to deal with. The job was started on time, completed on time, and looks fabulous! There were a number of tricky issues to deal with because of increased thickness of the new floor. Johan knew just what to do in each case. All details were handled nicely including replacing moldings, heat vents, etc.
We are 100% satisfied with the “new look” of our kitchen and are already planning our next project with Johan which will be a bathroom upgrade.

they were very accomodating with my schedule... they took about 2 weeks to get the whole thing done but they could've gotten it done sooner had i requested it but i wasn't in a rush since they were not going to be the bottleneck in my project... my useless plumber was...

- never asked for an upfront payment, just at the midway point i got a bill for 30% of the work when they were about 70% done... other guys may have asked for an upfront payment...
- they are 1 of 2 contractors that i really liked during my new home construction project (the other is carlson bros)... everyone else i used is not nearly as good...

He was a pleasure to work with! He called me and was able to come in right away to give me an estimate. Not only was his price better than two other people we had come in but he was nice enough to get the job done right away. He came in for an estimate on a Thursday and by Tuesday the job was done. It came out beautiful! They did fantastic work and we couldn't be happier! I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Johan was did a great job in the bathroom. He pulled the tiles out and we found it was loaded with glue and never really stuck to the greenboard. He cleaned the tiles and dried the wall a hairdrier and then reapplied a mastic glue and set the tiles, regrouted and recaulked the shower. It looks great! He then recaulked the granite counter in the kitchen and the tiles on the picture window in the living room. The work was performed in about two and half hours and was clean and neat. Very nice job indeed.

The entire project went beautifully. Every appointment was explained in advance, and all commitments were met. Cleanup was thorough every day. Good advice on tile design and selection, too. Even when we changed our minds on the faucet for the new vanity after it was installed, it was changed to a new one without fuss. And Johann is a delight to deal with. A real gentlemen as well as a professional.

Johan was great. He returned my phone call quickly and came when promised to give me a good price quote. Explained how to same money on the installation and saved my money on the tiles I picked out

It was fine because it was an easy, preliminary method to get information. I never met him in person, but he responded to the email within a day or two-quick enough for me to consider it a very responsive one. It had a very pleasant tone and he seemed to know what he was doing. The respondent seemed to know his stuff and he gave me a price based on the measurements I provided.

Johan was very professional and always on the ball. He was great at returning calls, working unsupervised and following up on anything relating to the the job. Communication was never a problem with him as it is sometimes with contractors. I told him what I wanted and he followed through every time. Often times he offered his professional advice, which was great. Great guy, great personality and very honest! Would hire again in a heartbeat!
