FREEDOM FENCE

Chris was great, very friendly and professional. We had a concern with one of the door was not perfectly straight and we discussed it and found a way to a fix it. I’m very pleased with the result and the experience with Freedom fence. The only thing to know (and I heard that from a lot of fencing companies) there is a 4 to 6 weeks delay between the down payment and the execution of the work because of the workload in the area. Also they can’t give you an exact date until few days before the week they planned to come. You have to call to follow-up with them when getting closer to the due date if you want to know.

Overall the service was good.  We had a few bumps in the road throughout the beginning. The fence came out fantastic.  Their workmanship went very well.  My opinion is that the final product is great. 

Shame on me, I hired Freedom based on a reco from my neighbor, so I didnt check my usual sources - BBB, Angie and Yelp.  Turns out that was a huge oversight and the neighbor has recently hired them based on past experience and had the same awful experience we had.  I hired Freedom Fence under the impression that this is a family owned business and hiring Freedom was the same as hiring Anello Fences - not true, seems there is family strife and Freedom is not part of Anello.  Approximately one month after I gave a 50% deposit for a vinyl fence, I had not heard from Vince at Freedom.  When I called he kept saying next week.  Every week came and went and never a phone call telling me that he would not be there. To make a long story short, Finally 2 months after my deposit was his, and I asked for my deposit back and threatened to report him to every agency, my fence was installed.  It took 3 trips to correct the issues with the sloppy install.  Ultimately I have a fence I am happy with but it was a painful experience.  The fence was completed to my satisfaction almost a week ago, he has called 4 times, sent an employee over to my home to collect the balance.  I advised the employee that I mailed the check and they would have it soon.  The next day Vince stopped by my home to ask for the check.  I wish he would have been this communicative when I was trying to get my fence installed!  I am glad it is over and I hope to never have to deal with him again - lets hope there are no warranty issues! He gets a D rating because I am happy with the fence, but everything gets an F(only because there is nothing lower).  My advice, STAY AWAY, FAR, FAR Away!

Hall Kissler, the owner/manager did an excellent sales pitch by phone, but never came out to see the property, sent out 2 of the most inept guys to install the invisible fence who never explained the fence to us, and did not spend more than 3 minutes training my dog. When we had repeated problems with the fence (the dog kept running away) they eventually sent someone out (a nice guy) who told us that the fence had not been installed according to our specifications (it was zapping our poor puppy in areas he was supposedly allowed to be in, and then nothing was happening in the areas where he was not supposed to go). Also the collar was faulty. They then charged us for the service call!
