They fail miserably connecting my TV with their cheaper remote. Now I am using different remotes for defferent things. They could not figured out how to connect my sitting room speakerwith other speakers so I cannot use that area while watching TV. After spending more than $10,000.00 still I have to compromise and go through all this everyday . I am regretting not using professional people. by the way they have excuse of my home network which is working perfectly fine. what have to do with all those problems with my home network

The installer was prompt, in fact he called me to ask if he could come earlier which was great because I had to get to work. The installation was fast and efficient, and they cleaned up cleaner than the area was before they arrived. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely call them again and recommend them to friends and relatives!

Horrible experience. I hired Chad to install a couple of TVs and to upgrade
some of my components based on his recommendations. After he couldn't get the
new components to work, he stormed out of the house and did not complete the
job.

"If you are reading this, Congratulations! You have found the proverbial "needle" in the haystack. The one and only negative review of NJ Smart Homes & Theater. We thought a 99% 5-Star rating would be kind of fishy, so we needed this one to make our ratings look more legit. Why else would we not please this customer like the other 149? We were contracted to install a few TV's and upgrade his audio system, the perfect opportunity to get a bad review. We advised the customer that his new equipment may not be compatible with the equipment he owned, and how possibly that could cause a problem. But luckily for us, he did not take our advice and we were on our way. 1-Star...Here we come! But to make ourselves look bad, we tried anyway to make things work. Even a 2nd trip by our technician was a failure. Thank goodness! Eventually to really humiliate ourselves we called in one of our "friendly" competitors to see if they could put 5-lbs of bologna into a 2-lb skin. But alas, after many hours of their time, which we appreciated paying for, they told us it was like trying to use a new iPhone 6 with the iPhone 3 charger. It's just not compatible! This really gave us hope for a terrible review. To solidify our hopes we decided, at the customers urging, not to take any money for the brackets, mounting, in-wall wire conceal, cables or installation that was perfectly done. In other words to make things look really negative for us, we only kept the initial deposit (Side Note: Only 30% of the total cost of completed project) and used it towards the Total Amount owed on the work that was completed. We just LOVE working for FREE, don't you? We just wanted to make sure the other 5-Star review customers know about the experience they missed out on. Can we find at least one more customer out there that will NOT give NJ Smart Homes & Theater a 5-Star review? Please help us get that one lonely negative review some company. Hire us and let us give you the opportunity to belittle NJ Smart Homes & Theater and get work done at your home without paying us!! One negative review compared to 148 positive ones. We are so tired of being that good! We hope you appreciate our response to this review."
