It took 8 months to remodel a 10x13 kitchen. Carlo worked, on average, twice a week if he showed up at all. I had to ask him to re-do his work on several occasions and now have to hire another contractor to correct his mistakes. He tried to convince me that a flickering lights in the kitchen is okay when the new microwave is turned on, I had to hire my own electrician to fix it. This has been an extremely stressful process and it's still not over since there's a lot that has to be fixed, finished, and replaced like the exposed tile edges. Now he refuses return to fix the leaking sink telling me that he and his plumber are too busy.

Carlo has old world Italian pride of workmanship and dedication to his craft. He was helpful with his many years of experience in construction, kitchen cabinets, granite, and tile. He went shopping with us to choose granite, new window, and gave recommendations but followed our decisions. Carlo's drawback was his timing, which had many delays in the beginning, setting us back a few months. I was also surprised that our contract was written by hand and I didn't have email direct to him, only his secretary at her home. Yet he did respond to phone calls. CSL Construction juggles many jobs, which I can appreciate, but Carlo set back the start date of our job several times or didn't show, due to other jobs. I was upset at first, but once he began our job, it went well. Carlo's work ethic and workmanship was excellent, and he was thorough, precise, and did a great job making everything look great while also creating very solid construction. Old kitchens are not easy to work with, but he solved issues and made all edges and corners flush and very secure. He added extra trim, plates and crown moldings to ceiling, which made the cabinets look like finely designed furniture. He also added wine rack and other touches that gives the kitchen style He also added more pull-out drawers and conveniences to the kitchen that I did not expect. He succeeded installing the new window perfectly in the center of cabinets, due to his many hours of adjustments with a difficult wall, and did beautiful work on our new sill, new trim, and new exterior sill, siding, and trim. Carlo cleaned up the work site and our garage, hauling away our old appliances and garbage for us, leaving our house clean. My final kitchen far exceeded my original expectations. The extra panels, moldings, under-counter lighting and beautiful marble subway backsplash (that he recommended) are beautiful and we are very happy with his work. He began in late June and finished in about 4-5 weeks. I would recommend Carlo if workmanship is your priority and time is not, since he delayed in starting our job, but did finish in normal expectations of entire execution of start to finish.

First I want to say that I have never been treated so badly by a service individual like this in my life. I hired this contactor to do my master bathroom (shower, tile on floor and tub and new vanity). In good faith, I gave the contactor/owner money he said he would need to start working and also complete the tiling on the floor and tub tile in my master bathroom. It has been several weeks and to this day I am unable to get the contactor to return my calls or to get him to come back to my home to complete the work that I have already paid him for. I first gave him money to install a new shower, which is not finished. I did not discuss time table with the contactor because I assumed it would only take a few weeks to complete and it would be done in a time permitted manner. Well shame on me because to this day the shower is still not completed. I believed him when he told me he needed additional money to finish completing the tiling of my bathroom, but he did not use the money for the work. The contactor started my shower and tiling the first week of June and now it is almost the end of August and my bathroom is unusable to this day. I have had several professionals come to my home to look at the incomplete work that I will need finished and all have said that the tile work was done incorrectly and needed to be removed and redone. I am so distressed at this news because I had already given the contractor/owner more than 75% of the money I had budget for to renovate my bathroom. I cannot stress enough that this individual is not reliable, professional or competent to do this kind of work. I would never recommend his contractor to ANYONE.
