Jack and his son did a phenomenal job with the work! We couldn't be happier. Jack stands by his work and will take care of any detail. The shiplap was put up seamlessly with precision on difficult cuts. The backsplash was done meticulously and added to the clean lines we were looking for. Due to an insurance claim, Jack and his son were able to put up and paint the bathroom ceiling better than when it was originally done. They also fixed a very tricky electrical outlet that I would never be able to fix and would have had to call an electrician. They were punctual, respectful of our home, privacy and time. I never felt that any time or resources were squandered. We are thrilled with the finished product and will retain their services for future projects. We couldn't be more grateful!

I called JS Home Repair to inquire about installing a small area of fence and a gate at the entrance to my backyard. Jack was very responsive and showed up exactly when he said he would. He said he could do the job, gave me a good price and scheduled the work on the spot. He showed up on the day we scheduled and even worked in the rain in order to get the job done on time. When he finished, the gate looked good, except for the holes in the posts that he said needed to be capped. He said that he forgot the buy the caps, but would be back the following week to put them on. I called to remind him the following week (at his request) and he said he planned to be here the next day. It’s been two weeks and I have not seen or heard from Jack. And now, the gate is sagging, the latch has fallen off and one of the hinges is coming away from the post. Be wary. I know all of the other reviews are good, and Jack seems to be a nice person. I think perhaps, this handyman may have bitten off more than he could chew. I guess I now know why his price was several hundred dollars less than the two fence companies I called. The way it looks now, it wasn't even worth what I paid. Unfortunately, I’m now suffering from a case of “you get what you pay for.” Some things should be left to the experts. I’ve left a couple messages and even sent a text…but no word from Jack. My husband is a contractor who does a lot of work for an Angie’s list company, so I know how important these reviews are. It’s unfortunate that I had to do this, but it’s just business.

Everything went very well. Jack was very fair with his pricing and was very responsive. He was also quite flexible from a scheduling perspective. You could also tell that he takes pride in his work and spent a little more time than may have been necessary in order to add finishing touches to the work. I will definitely touch base with him again for future work.

I will definitely be using Jersey Shore Home Repair services and expertise again! As a new home owner you dont know where things were purchased or who they were installed by. I contacted several places for a storm door repair & no one would help unless they did the install. Jack and his son were a god send!! They were prompt, extremely helpful, reasonably priced, informative, and Genuinely Good People! They explained what they were doing & within an hour they had the repair complete and everything cleaned. Jack's son also helped me get the chain back on a pole saw, they gave advice on future projects, and recommended safety repairs. Thank you so much!!

I was extremely satisfied with the quality of work. Jack brings many years of experience to the job site and it is clear he can overcome any problem that needs fixing. I plan on using their services for other jobs in my home and would highly recommend them to anyone in need his services. Jack runs a family business and as such treats his clients like they are part of his family.

We called three different contractors to come give us estimates which ranged from a total "California Closet" type makeover to simply re-installing the rod and shelves back into the wall. Jack was super responsive and came out right away. He was clearly knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us a bill of goods, but rather took us through the various routes we could take. He suggested the simplest, which was to spackle and paint the holes in the drywall and re-install the rods & shelves, taking care to affix them to the studs this time. He gave us a time and cost estimate that day, and was able to come back the next day to complete the project. He was fair, sweet, great to talk to (my husband learned a few new tricks) and knows what he's doing. I would absolutely use him again.

Jack responded to my request promptly and was a real pleasure to deal with. He is honest, fair, reasonable and a very nice man. I will definitely be contacting him for any future repairs that I need on my home.
