Signature Turf

I couldn't find a company who had organic fertilizer programs that didn't use "biosolids" (Disgusting!)  One of my friends recommended their lawn care company, Signature Turf.  The office staff was very friendly and accomodated my schedule setting up an initial consultation.  The owner, Mark Martini, did the evaluation himself. Apparently, he used to run golf courses and grow their grass.  I also found out he has a degree in turf grass from Penn State.  He was really honest with me about the condition of the lawn (I hadn't done much before).  I thought it would be expensive, but his quote was right in line with the "big box" companies - who couldn't give me organic.  Mark said he'd handle the lawn himself for the first year, to make sure everything went well.  I asked them to call before they came, which they did and he was right on time.  It was great.  I feel really comfortable that they know what they're doing.  I called to find out when my next service was scheduled and the woman who answered the phone knew who I was!  Talk about personalized service.  Apparently, Mark leaves notes on all of the customers at the office, so the staff knows each lawn's problems and what program they're using.  It was a far cry to the other companies, who didn't even come out to see my lawn, but just gave me a quote on the phone.  I asked them how they did that and didn't they need to see the grass?  They told me all the lawns in my area are the same!  I don't think so.  I'm so glad my friend told me about Signature Turf.  She's been using them for over a year and is really happy with the way her lawn turned around.  I couldn't be happier.
