It was the day before hurricane Sandy, and my section of town was under forced evacuation. My daughter, who is overseas had left her car in my driveway. Her car's battery was dead and wouldn't hold a charge. I didn't want to leave the car in my driveway because we expected flooding.  I had not ever been to P&C auto, but they were close by, so i asked the owner/mechanic if they'd be able to tow the car and replace the battery. He told me that it would cost a lot more if i had them tow the car and suggested i try to get a neighbor to charge it and to dirve it over without shutting off the car first. I did so, and he stopped working on the car he was reparing and ordered a battery, telling the supplier to bring it right over. They brought the battery about 20 minutes later, he installed it and I was able to move the car to a safe location. He even gave me a discount on the battery! He was very professional and really went out of his way to help someone who he had never done work for.
