He arrived and figured out the problem and got an appropriate washer and was able to tighten the drain. Sounds simple but all our new construction pipes are plastics and not all threaded.

The whole toilet had to be removed and everything scraped and cleaned and new parts put in properly.
Tom also checked the sub flooring, and below that as well, to make sure there was not further damage from this leak.
Once the toilet problem was fixed and the toilet replaced, he and the other fellow with him (also named Tom) put back
everything in its place; and cleaned up and washed the floor in the the powder room and back hall. (I tried to talk them into doing the kitchen floor as well; but that was a no go. LOL)
Upstairs in the bath tub, he took the knobs off, did something, something and they are fixed. Not a drop of leakage.
These are fixtures, we have been told in the past, are so old that replacement parts are not available. To replace the whole
fixture would involve breaking up tile work on the wall. Thank you Tom for fixing all our plumbing problems.
They were at our home for almost 2 hours. They fixed everything we asked of them. They cleaned up beautifully; and
did it all for a very fair price.
