Better than expected! We couldn’t be happier with the new floors. The workmanship was top-notch. Jim the owner is attentive to any questions or concerns. Our house looks great and if we ever need any flooring to be done we know exactly who to call. These guys are pros.

Amazing job!! The floor had water damage and planks had to be replaced before the floor could be refinished. The planks were perfectly matched. The floor looks fantastic. It went shockingly smoothly. The team that worked at our were friendly, and extremely efficient. They did 7 rooms in 2 days, really amazing! This company stands behind their workmanship also. A year later we needed a little tweaking on one area and they came right out and fixed it right up for us. I would highly recommend using Mainland Flooring.

After the runaround from a local flooring company, we called Jim at Mainland Flooring. He came to our house within a week in his mobile showroom. If you don't find what your looking for there, you will at his store. It took me a little time to choose which floor and Jim was both knowledgeable and patient. He and his men were on time,fast and efficient. A company you can trust! We love our new floor!

This was my first experience working with Jim Chesseman and mainland flooring. Jim and his staff were knowledgable, professional showed up ontime and did a wonderful job. Mainland flooring did a wonderful job refinishing our original wood floors and helped us raise the value of our home by doing so. If all of my contractors were this good, life would be amazing! I have already recommended them to my neighbors and highly recommend you give them a try. You wont't be disappointed.

I tried to use this function several times with no success. The job went very well.

I didn't know Mainland but they were recommended by my handyman. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it and for a fair price. Our floors look better now than when we built the house 15 years ago.

We put in soft pine floors when we moved in our house. We found them from a company who reclaims old barn or homestead floors I believe in Vermont. The floors are beautiful and cut nails with a flat head are used to install them. The stain was a little darker than we liked and the floors were showing some wear and some scratches from the dogs. We called around and asked for an estimate from a few places. Mainland got back to us the same day. I think it was only an hour. Mainland was competitive and fair with their prices. Jim the owner, also explained that the room would not have to be sealed off from the rest of the house because they use a dustless sanding machine. He assured us that dust would not be an issue and that sold us. Wow he was correct!!! There was not a speck of dust in the house!! The nails were an issue also as they had to be slightly countersunk prior to them doing the work. There was not a single scratch to a single nail and the floors were smooth and beautiful!! These guy's are good and they were professional. They were on time and worked with our schedules to complete the job. Not only would I recommend them, I will have them back in a few years because the dogs like that room.

Jim was great to work with and we were thrilled with the finished product. We had 3000 sf of unfinished Cumaru installed and finished on site. It’s been a year since the install and we have had no issues. The floors are holding up very well. Pricing was more than fair for the services and product we received. Would absolutely recommend them and use them again for future flooring needs.
