Gloria's Painting

Wow, this little one-'woman' show is amazing - a dynamite female that does it all with precision, neatness and completeness! Carmen is the sole proprietor of Gloria's painting. She does a phenomenal job, very professional and high quality. I had her come in initially to paint my son's bedroom. The first thing she did was clear out the room and lay down drop cloths. Then she inspected the room and found that the wood around the windows and beaded board had some cracks. She informed me that they would not look as nice if she did not caulk the areas (I've had other painters who, believe me, would have painted right over any cracks if I did not specify what needed to be fixed or they would have definitely charged me extra - there was no extra charge for this). She caulked all the needed cracks and even went around my windows to keep the draft out. She spackled EVERY nail hole (my son was fond of tacking posters everywhere in his room) and checked for nail pops in the ceiling. Then she proceeded to prime - not just a thin, spotty area here and there, but a solid prime coverage which made the finish room look like his room was brand new. Two coats of paint is her norm - and I cannot say enough how happy I was with the lines along the ceiling - straight and true. As an added plus, she is neat as a pin - if she left something for the next day, it was clean and tidy - either set to the side or she took it with her. There were no messy paint drips anywhere - not even on her that I could see. Once I saw how professional a job she did, I had her paint 2 more bedrooms and 2 baths. Oh, she also has great taste in paint colors and gave me some good advice on what color to put in the bathroom!
