SK Hamrah carpet cleaning of Plainfield, NJ is absolutely outstanding!!! I've had the same carpets cleaned in the past but the results with Hamrah were simply exceptional. Upon completion of work, the carpets look brand new. The business owner personally responded to my call, arrived on time, was courteous, knowledgable and gave me a fair quote before work was done. Work was completed and carpets delivered and reinstalled exactly when promised. I would recommend SK Hamrah without reservation.

The owner came out with two employees.  He provided a bid with very detailed information regarding procedures for cleaning the rugs. They were all very respectful, professional and were very careful when moving furniture. It took approximately 5-10 days from pick-up to return (repairs took 10 days). The owner was very flexible in working with my schedule both when picking up and returning. A 50% deposit was taken, however, I'm not sure that it had to be 50%. The rugs were beautiful when they returned. There was no evidence of pet stains (dog & cat).  They were gone.  The carpets smell clean. No cover up smelly deodorizer was used. I had never had them professionally cleaned by a proper oriental dealer. I was very satisfied with the service and would most definitely use them again.

They're prompt, professional, they know what they're doing and they're reliable. They take care of my rugs. You can contact them anytime, their email, text message or phone calls if there's an emergency.

Charlie George, one of two owners (brothers) arrived promptly with two assistants at the agreed upon time. A small rug was brought along and placed outside the door to wipe their shoes before entering my home. He inspected the rugs, described how they were going to be cleaned, suggested repairs (new fringe) for one, measured each rug and calculated the price. When the repair was suggested for one rug, a sample was provided. A deposit, by check, of a little less than half of the price was given. Charlie also discussed how to care for, clean stains and gave a time range for optimal repeated cleaning. (Their website has good information on the proper procedures to treat stains.) The rugs had not been cleaned in five years and never professionally. They did a fabulous job. The rugs looked new. Treated stains on fringe, including dog and cat accidents, that I thought would never come out were gone. I couldn't be happier. The amount spent may sound large, however, a lot of work was done. The quality of the work and of the new padding was well worth it, not to mention pickup and delivery. I will use this business again as well as purchase new orientals from them if ever needed.  They also have a second location in Lebanon, NJ.
