It was terrible. The first liner was too big, the second liner was too small, they installed it anyway and it split open then we never saw them again. The answering machine is so full you can not even leave a message. They brought a pack of dogs with them, really!! Warning do not use them for pool services I used to buy all of my pool chemicals from the Mrs. she is actually very knowledgeable and the prices are good. I is the husband who is the looser.... No integrity, bad service, and I had to order my own new liner and call another installer. I paid twice what I would have if I did not use Pittstown Pools!!!

Description of Work: We just purchased a New Pentair Superflo 1 HP Pool Pump from Pittstown Pools. The price was very competitive and Patty & Marcus provided a wealth of information regarding the best pump for our 20x40 inground pool(the 15 yr. Hayward 1.5 HP was well past it's "prime"). The Pentair is working like a champ and is super quiet compared to the Hayward it replaced. May I say we have been using Pittstown since we installed the pool - for everything from general troubleshooting; opening/closing; liner replacement; pump motor replacement; etc. and have always been satisfied with their service. We definitely prefer the family owned operation and the personal attention they provide.

They did not communicate all of the charges associated with our pool. Ended up costing us more than $1,500 for the opening of our pool when they originally gave us the price of $225. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Pittstown Pools was awful and I would never use them again. I paid the owner (Mark) $800 on June 15 so that he would purchase and install a new liner in my above ground Esther Williams pool. After repeated calls his workers finally came to my house and cut my old liner out. They left it on my deck and didn't return for at least a week. After several calls they returned and put the liner in. They left without cutting the opening's for the return and the filter. After several irate calls they returned and cut the opening for the return. They hooked up the filter but never cut the opening for it into the liner. After several increasing irate calls they promised to return the next day. We were leaving for vacation so we told them where to find the pool key. We returned home 10 days later to find.....nothing. They had never come to finish the job. My husband, who is normally very even keeled, finally threatened to sue them if the job was not done by the end of the day. The truth is that he was quite angry by this time. They arrived that afternoon and completed the job on July 18th over one month after they began. Horrible experience and truly unprofessional company.
