+ 1 moreHe did lousy work. The blinds are not even and he cut them to short. He did replace the ones he cut and they slid side to side because he placed the brackets in the wrong place and he only corrected it when I asked him about it. I was very unhappy with the quality of the work and when I said something to him about the quality he stated to me "that everything can't be perfect". If he can't put up blinds correctly I sure wouldn't trust him to work on doors. I found him on Angie's List because he had a great rating but he did lousy work for me.
Description of Work: I used Hoffman Home Improvements and Repairs to hang six blinds in my home.

Description of Work: We asked Hoffman for a quote to fix our drywall and paint our entire common area and bedroom. we also had a leaky front window that created water damage in our interior drywall that surrounded the window. His quote was higher than we wanted to spend but I wanted to submit a report about him because he and his brother did something that was above and beyond any other contractor. After he came to see the job and before he submitted his price to us, he called and asked to come back to the house with his brother. He and his brother then looked at the leaky window and caulked some areas they saw were exposed and vulnerable to water that no other contractor had seen. Thanks to him and his brother, we have not seen any more water come into the house. We even had the outside of our house washed with no repercussions with that window!!!! So thank you to him, such a nice guy to go out of his way to help us and be successful at it too. In retrospect, we should have hired him!!!

+ 2 moreIt was excellent. They were clean and neat. They were on time. I would recommend them to anyone. No job is too large or small. The finished product was miticulous and beautiful.
Description of Work: They capped my outside windows, did interior painting, put up shutters, powerwashed the siding, and hung a door.
