All Jersey Moving & Storage have been proudly serving our surrounding community since 1992. All Jersey Moving & Storage are one of only fifteen movers in the state of New Jersey that earned the "Circle of Excellence" designation from the New Jersey Warehouseman and Movers Association. Our business is operated out of Bridgewater but we also partnered with a company back in 2006 that was located in Wall Township, NJ.

Like some of the other people said: I'd give them a negative if I could. This is the worst experience we have had with moving company. We moved from one house to the other within the same development. Driving time would be 3 to 5 minutes. Since the distance is so short, we moved all the fragile stuff ourself before the moving day. We packed everything in boxes. No loosen objects so it would be easier and faster for the movers. They had 6-7 guys, one supervisor (?) came early that morning and it took them 5 to 6 hours to load all the stuff to the truck, which is fine even though it was a bit longer than what we expected, and what they estimated.
The brand new $12,000+ wood flooring on the second floor of the house that we moved to was just done the day before we moved in. I told them to be more careful and not scratch the floor. All the movers that I've hired before would simply put a clothe/sheet all over the entire house even though the floor is old. Professional movers would try their best not to damage it. But these guys kept on dragging my furniture around instead of lifting them up. Kept on talking to each other, joking around, which is also fine if you're doing your job good. But they weren't, they wasted so much time fooling around. We paid extra for moving our baby grand piano. Now we have so many dents under the piano because they were not gentle moving and adjusting the placement. The whole moving procedure lasted until 9:30pm at night. We felt bad that the workers had to work so late so I and my mother-in-law both tipped them, twice for some workers!
After they left, we found that our brand new tiger wood flooring was scratched badly, not one spot, not two but everywhere!!! Scratches are in almost every room. Our master bedroom is the worst. They are so visible and everywhere. One of the post for my $8,000+ king size bed was broken too!!!
We were so upset BUT we understood that was accident so we didn't act or talk angry to them. We called Robert and told him about it. He said he would report to the company and let us know what the solution would be. Later I was given their insurance company number to file my claim. Again after we talked to the staff there, sent her all the pictures of the damaged floor and furniture. She replied she would proceed the claim and get back to us as soon as she could. Weeks pasted we heard nothing from them. Every time we called we were told to leave a message but this person just disappear from the world. When we demanded to talk to a manager or other staff, they would insist SHE should be the one which took care of our case. Months pasted and we almost forgot about it (that's probably what they wanted). They used every kind of excuse they could ever think of so they didn't have to pay. My husband was kinda giving up the idea to get the claim. I was all ****** off, it's NOT only about the money. This is just NOT right and totally unfair. I told All Jersey and the insurance company that if they don't finish the claim then I would just post all the pictures on Facebook and share my experience with everyone that I know. Quickly, we got a $500 check within that week.
To be honest, the $500 means nothing compared to what we lost if you look at all the pictures. $500 can't even pay for the post of my king size bed. We can't put them on because we can't replace it. They are just sitting in our basement now. Not to mention our brand new floor. We can't restore it and have to live with it as long as we stay in this house.
Poor moving service, poor follow-up customer service too. I believe some other people might have good experience with them. But i would never refer them to anyone i know.
I have moved many times in my life and this was the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. First, when I called them they said no company would help me move things into my pull down attic and I believed them. My neighbor said he would help me and when he couldn't come soon enough I called 3 other companies that said they would!
When the movers got here, they had the worst attitude. They weren't polite, and everything I asked them to do seemed like a hassle (To be fair, one of the three was kind of nice) even though I wound up paying $250/hour. They were not helpful and didn't want to do anything I asked. They moved sloppily and never laid down anything to protect my floors, so they wound up SCRATCHING my hardwood floors without telling me. That topped off the worst moving day of my life when I found it.
They left plastic wrap on some things, and wouldn't help me wrap other things. I was given the "you didn't mention that to the office" spiel a few times, even though I was hiring them by the hour and the office told me I didn't need to list every single thing I wanted them to do, they just wanted to estimate the time frame.
One thing I asked them to do was move my jeep hard top onto my car. They said they didn't do that, and I had to tell them that is the main reason they were here and the office said it was ok. They came unprepared and didn't bring power tools and left me with the hardtop half out the garage so I couldn't close it, because they are just that SELFISH and INCONSIDERATE!!! And apparently it was my fault that they couldn't do it because my drill was out of battery and they tried to make me look like an idiot by telling me I was charging it wrong. I have had that drill for years and that is the way it was supposed to be charged, but the mover said it was wrong. Just more proof of their terrible attitude problems. (my neighbor and husband later undid the soft top by hand and helped me with the hardtop before it rained, so thanks for nothing All Jersey Moving. Oh and my drill is fully charged, because I know how to charge things surprise, surprise.)
When all was finished I had 30 mins left of paid time, that's $125, and I asked them to help me move some small stuff around. You would think I asked them to do the worst thing in their life! They made me feel so bad about it with their crappy attitudes, that I let them leave 20 mins early. I did those things by myself because they didn't want to help a paying customer. I would rather pay more money to hire other people than to ask All Jersey Moving & Storage to help me move some things around even though I paid them to do it!!!
I actually hired Jaco Movers to finish the job today, and I cannot tell you how wonderful that company was to me. They provided packing materials and were so nice and accommodating. Nothing was inconveniencing and they cost me way way less!!! Using Jaco Movers in the future and NEVER All Jersey!!!
Approx. 2 months prior to move date, Bob Stanton did an in house evaluation and an estimate. He was very personable and clearly experienced. During the time between estimate and move, I had questions and the inventory required adjusting. I contacted All Jersey. Their response was prompt, my questions answered and the modification to the contract quickly and efficiently handled.
Speaking of speed and efficiency, these two attributes can also be ascribed to the movers. They loaded our items in NJ on June 16th and unloaded them in Delaware on the17th. On both days they arrived on time (actually a few minutes early). We were impressed with how fast they cleared each room and yet took the time to handle our items with care. Furniture was wrapped. For smaller items they had a system and worked well together. They asked questions when clarification was needed from me or my husband. They were very respectful and professional. We were so impressed that the first thing I did after all our items were unloaded was call the company and report how very pleased we were with the entire process and with the movers themselves.
We had moved a few times before and expected that the move could not be accomplished without some glitches. To our surprise,
the entire process went very smoothly. Moving is very stressful and those guys really diffused a great deal of the tension.
We recommend this company without any reservation. If you have not moved recently, the cost will seem high. Actually, it is comparable to most reputable moving companies and the quality of service was well worth it.
