Unfortunately I have to leave a star which is not deserved. I have been a customer of Binsky for awhile now and after an incident with one of their drivers, I will never use their services again. Despite complaining to the President and two different managers, I have yet to hear anything about how the situation will be handled. One of their drivers tailgated me with their brights on because I was going the speed limit on a 2 lane road in New Jersey. The brights made me go slower because of the glare. I had the state police on the phone the entire time to give them a description of the vehicle once I was able too. The driver passed me once the road turned into 2 lanes and held his hand on the horn and cut me off almost hitting my front end. The van sped off I was unable to get the plate. All I saw was that it was a Binsky truck with a ladder on the roof. My son was in the car with me panicking and nervous we were going to have an accident. NOT A D*** THING WAS DONE ABOUT THIS BY THE COMPANY THEREFORE I WILL NOT EVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN AND MAKE SURE TO PUT MY REWIEWS ON EVERY PLATFORM REGARDING THIS. If I had to stop short for any reason my son and I could have been killed. DISGRACEFUL.

Gave me an appointment for a Monday for AC service. Took time off from work. Call me on Monday afternoon to tell me they will not show up and will not be available for servicing the AC till the following week. Very unreliable.

The greatest con artist who came to my apartment in thirty years was from Binsky Home; called because a laundry sink pump was dripping though I'd not done laundry for weeks. He spent an hour doing a dramatic performance that included a ten minute camera conference with his supervisor while they examined my hot water heater, aghast at how unusually it had been piped, that it was connected to a discharge line, was draining into the same line as the sink pump, causing a leak, creating all the damage. He convinced me that I should install shut off valves in the room, to cut and cap the water heater pipe away from a discharge line, and to create another so the hot water heater could drain to an aluminum roasting pan to be placed on the floor: $1,100. If that didn't work, it would be another $2,100 to replace the tank and $965 for a laundry pump. There was little sleep for nights, out of work during a pandemic, panicked about taking a loan to pay for all this; I had friends praying for me. Right before he was to come back to begin the work, I put out a new request on Angie's List. Luis, the owner of FMS Plumbing was at my home ten minutes later. He said you already have shut off valves on top of your water heater and it isn't draining anywhere. It was simple: there had been a clog on the discharge line that was wearing down the motor and together with a leaky faucet had overwhelmed it. He snaked the line to make sure the clog was gone, installed a new pump and faucet: his labor together with cost of the pump and faucet totaled $850. When the Binsky con artist came back and I pointed to the very large shut off valves atop the tank so thoroughly examined, he said he hadn't noticed them. They charged me $50 for this performance. I recorded the whole thing and am reporting this firm to every consumer protection agency I can find.

I have been a Binsky customer service for 5 years. I have been very happy with the service and repair they provided me over the years by their competent and friendly service technicians. The problem arose with their customer service office managers. Here are the facts: In the spring, my a/c compressor failed. They next day they came and replaced it – great job! I was charged $1,902 for labor, and the part was covered by the manufacturer, Goodman. No problem. Some weeks later, the compressor's relay failed. The technician, promptly replaced it. I pointed out that the relay should have been inspected and replaced when compressor was replaced (relay's contacts were worn and pitted). The technician, (N.V.), agreed, and said he would not charge me for labor, only for the part, $189, which I paid by check. At a later date I checked my documents and realized that my Goodman warranty covered "ALL PARTS". I called Binsky, and was directed to the accounting manager (M.M.), who said his records show parts are not covered under warranty. I asked him to re-check and to call me back, and I also emailed them a copy of my Goodman warranty showing indeed all parts are covered. During that week, the manager NEVER called me back. I called for the fourth time, and was directed to a customer service rep (A.E.) and tried to explain the situation. She was curt and dismissive, now claiming the $189 was for labor, not parts. I told her I received their invoice that showed charge item was for "MATERIAL", not labor, and that their own technician said no labor charge apply – but to no avail. I asked to speak with the General Manger, (K.K.S.), and was promised she would call me back that afternoon. She NEVER called back. The following week, I was able to contact a Binsky Executive VP, who agreed with me, apologized for ordeal and he kindly arranged for my rightful refund check. It took four weeks to settle, causing me much aggravation. No customer should be treated so shabbily. I am 68 years, and I should not feel I am being taken advantage of, ignored or dismissed. It's a shame that a company that provides good technical services by their technicians, tarnishes its reputation by such poor office customer service. Jim S, Warren NJ

I thought the price was kind of high.  There time schedule wasn't convenient for me.  I had an issue they couldn't figure out and the price was higher.  I had to call and complain to negotiate a decrease in the charge.

Appointment was scheduled and rep came to house. I knew a significant amount of work and money would be needed to install a new system and asked for options for the best system for this project. This is my home that I plan on raising a family in therefor I knew I would need to invest in a top of the line system from a good reputable installer which is why I called Binsky. Little did I know that they would react the way they did...

The rep seemed excited and offered different ideas verbally but never provided a proposal. EVEN AFTER I CALLED THREE TIMES TO FOLLOW UP! I never even got a return phone call...

I had used them previously for an emergency call on a holiday and that wasn't cheap and my call was based on the service technicians recommendation. I can not in good faith recommend their services for large work as they were completely unresponsive and never provided a quote. I guess they thought that I wasn't worth the effort which is funny because I ended up using another company and invested a large amount of money!

Don't waste your time with these guys.

There were some challenges with a faulty bearing on the blower motor, and some other details (so I docked them a star in that quality area) that they made right for me.
But my measure of a successful relationship with a provider of something as important as HVAC, electrical , gas, plumbing (which are all involved here,) is whether you can trust them to watch out for you.  I trust Matt C implicitly, and know that he is watching out for my best interests, and doing the right thing for me.
I now have HVAC, a hot water system, and a whole house service contract with Binsky and Snyder, and I am comfortable that my family is taken care of.

Provided initial quote.  Answered all questions.  Was not pushy.  Provided several local references.   Arrived on scheduled date and time to do the work.  Did great work.  Fast, professional.  Spent time explaining the system and answering questions and giving tips.
