It was one of the worst building jobs of my entire life. It was 14 years ago. Over the period of time that we have owned the house we have encountered more problems than I care to talk about it at times. I am rather upset with the quality of the work. The reasons were that the materials that they used were less than the quality materials we thought we were getting. They raised the area that it took time for them to provide a proper house. There was nothing I could do until 14 years. We had a problem after a 10 year period. For example they gave us a house without a sump pump. They said that we did not have to have a cellar and we did. We had a septic system here and the PVC pipe that they supposed to use should be 40 standard but they used 10 standard. The distribution box in the septic was supposed to be concrete and it was made of plastic. It actually caved in. These were the kind of things we did not know until it happened. How did I know that the distribution box was plastic it was underground, that’s the kind of workmanship. So I am extremely upset with them. If they sold me something that does not meet my expectation than whatever I paid for I should be satisfied. At that time the pricing was reasonable but what we got for it was not worth. I would have put $40000.00 to $50000.00. They did get on time. I was not happy with the professionalism because they did these things certainly knowing that they were doing something wrong without telling us. They were giving us the idea that what they were doing was quality work. As a general contractor he was bad and he used Russian professional subcontractors and he used the cheapest he could find. We were getting to downsize and building anther house but he will not be in the picture. I had people call me and asked me should they use him and I have always said no.
