SPOILERS AUTOMOTIVE SPA

I went to Spoilers Auto Spa on 2/9/2009 for an oil change and a car wash. The technician, who was terminated for his poor performance, damaged my oil pan causing it to leak oil. I returned several times over the course of two week to find a resolution to the problem. They attempted several time to install different sized drain plugs in my oil pan but all attempts failed. When I requested that they install a new oil pan, they agreed. Before they obtained the oil pan, I went back and said I would feel more comfortable if I had my mechanic, whom I have know for almost 20 years, look at my car first because I had reservation about them replacing my oil pan. A day later I received a call from the manager saying that not only would they not cover any costs from my mechanic, nor would they pay for a new oil pan. They would, however, install the new pan if I purchased it. Their reasoning was that my car had 184,000 miles and that with a car with that many miles on it the damage was caused not by them, but by wear and tear. I say that my car was perfectly fine when I brought it to them, that the technician who performed the service was terminated for damaging other cars and that they should take responsibility for the damage they caused. I am considering legal action at this point.
