I wanted to reline the bathtub and surrounding wall area with a liner that was meant simulate the look of the exiting white tile in the rest of the bathroom, once installed. I was told the installers would match the white liner to the existing tiles in the rest of the bathroom and you would never be able to tell the difference. That turned out to be not the case. 1. They substituted a lower end tub liner without telling me, I only caught it as I looked in the bathroom as they were installing and told them this was not what I ordered. After a phone call to the main office, I was told that the one I ordered could not be made to fit my tub (I find that hard to believe as I have a standard tub. It sounded more to me as if they simply ordered the wrong one from the factory.) I allowed them to install it, and they gave me a $60.00 credit, which I did not think was enough. 2. The simulated tile surround wall was not matched up to the existing tile, and it looks terrible. The simulated grout lines are totally off and do not match the existing grout lines of the tile that remains in the bathroom, and you can see immediately that this is a liner insert. I told them I was unhappy with that, at the time of installation and they told me that was the best they could do. I was again given some credit. 3. The corner shelf (3 tiered) that was to be inside the tub was cut to the wrong size by the installer. They tried to cover it up with a three finger thick application of grout at the ceiling where the shelving met the ceiling, but I told them this was unacceptable, The entire piece was short and needed to be replaced. They agreed and ordered another one, which they came a week later to reinstall. However the reinstallation was sloppy and the grout around it is now yellowing against the white simulated tile. It looks terrible. 4. I had contracted to have an existing vanity refaced. They cut the laminate to fit the vanity, but when applying it they did not do a good job and it is buckling on the side next to my toilet. Granted, this is hard area to work in as it is small, but the job is sloppy. Additionally, they did not do the foot board at the base of the vanity, and when questioned they told us to paint it white. And finally the laminate on the bottom corner of the vanity is peeling off. I have had to crazy glue it down, less then two months later. 5. The faucets for the sink were not ordered and did not show up for the job. I had to wait an additional week after the counter top was installed to get the facets I had ordered installed. They did put in a temporary faucet for me, at my insistence, as the sink was unusable without it and it had already been two full weeks. 6. The custom closet insets were measured wrong in the guest room and the shelving needed to be reordered and reinstalled a week later. This forced us to keep all our clothing on a bed for an additional week. I was given a total of $200.00 credit for the entire job, which I do not think was adequate. I did complain to the company in writing, and was told they were concerned about my installation and would get back to me, but I never heard from them again. One thing that was done correctly and looks great are the corian counter top and windowsill. This part of the job was done very well.
