"Hercules Moves Inc. 425 Division St. Perth Amboy NJ 08861 in regards to the Pending dispute I am responding as requested. The Customer has written an inquiry regarding this issue on multiple levels. I have corresponded with him multiple times as well. We, have had a long term relationship with the consumer for many years. The Customer has a lot of stuff in storage here for a long period of time. He contracted us to conduct a pick up from Florida, and to return the stuff to our storage here in NJ which we did. At the time he was given a detailed inventory list by our team of all items that were moved by us. The Customer then asked to have items from Florida AND his storage holdings delivered to a place in Boston. He asked for specific items to be shipped to Boston. The Customer’s writing fail to depict the most crucial points here, he asked us to move specific items without providing the proper inventory numbers assigned to all his items. We have restored the chairs that were damage and they have been ready to ship (which we want to do at no cost obviously to the consumer). Regarding the items he wants delivered above and beyond the consumer has been quoted the minimum price for the work he wants performed but he refuses to pay for the work. Business is not free nor is gas, wear and tear on our equipment, warehouse handling, tolls, and human labor. We have in fact tried to have this delivered for the costs and fees associated with this yet he refuses to pay for the work. We do not know what else to do at this point as this is a one sided story that has now been told in the true version as it relates to this. We are fully prepared to deliver his chairs without charge, everything else needs to be paid for as it is additional work being performed. The fact that the consumer has not and did not provide ANY numbers from the detailed inventory he provided, is of no fault of ours and we will not shoulder the responsibility because the customer “misplaced his inventory list”.
