At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.

Let me start by saying that the crew that came out to install the windows did a terrible job, trim was removed, windows were not leveled, and air was coming in around trim, they put our trim back up with 30+ nails. Just horrible!! The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of GUY and PETER, the two of them came back out to fix the "first" crews work and they went above and beyond to make us happy!!

I signed contract and put downpayment. Was told I had to move my belongings away from windows. But I broke my wrist and couldn't move anything so between me and the company the date was postponed. I was finally told by someone the installers would move my things.They moved nothing. On one window they didn't even take down blinds and tried to do their work around it and ended up breaking my window. I was recording it and one installer called his supervisor and told him; the phone call from the company said the installers could walk out and not finish the job if they "felt uncomfortable." My phone calls on this day to the salesman were unanswered until I called the office and they had him call me. One window was installed backwards. I asked them not to step over my rhododendrons outside one window, they could go around; installer ignored me and broke off a large branch. One window doesn't always close perfectly in order for me to lock it - I have to muscle both panes into place. So much more to tell but they were awful.

Excellently. A three-man crew arrived in the projected time frame, surveyed the job, unloaded their truck, and got to work. The six old windows were gone in 40 minutes. They worked non-stop. Start to drive-away was 3.5 hours. The men kept the site cleaned up as they went and their workmanship was first class. As for the performance of the windows themselves, the weather has not yet tested them. But they look great and by all appearances they should do very well indeed.

Amazing Company!!! From start to finish, a knowledgeable and truthful experience from a reputable company. I was looking for a reputable company that specialized in doors and windows. I spoke with a few companies and Window Nation was by far, the best. Jim Doyle was my sales rep and k we more about windows then anyone on the planet. If you are planning to use Window Nation to replace the windows in your home, here is a cautionary story. We contracted with Window Nation (WN) to replace ALL the windows in our house in Villanova, PA in March of 2022. A nearly $40,000 job. The replacement windows were so sub-standard that they all need to be replaced. And the poor quality and inferior workmanship may have already created (and may be creating) additional damage to our stucco house. On four separate occasions, Window Nation's own representatives -- its original installers, initial inspector, manager/inspector, and re-measurer -- all confirmed, in person, that the windows that were originally installed, manufactured by a company called Alside, were so defective that they all need to be replaced. Among many other problems, some of the windows were cracked/broken, the window slats are crooked and do not line up with one another, most windows have irremovable industrial adhesive in conspicuous places, screens are ripped and loose, more than 50% of the windows do not have window cranks, some windows do not lock, and some windows have to be force closed from the exterior of the house. We have been attempting to work with Window Nation to get our windows replaced, but we just keep getting the run around from the company. They’ve left 75% of our exterior windows without caulking them because they capped the windows with the wrong color and were supposed to come back, but never did. Like the TV commercial by Window Nation's competitor, Window Nation is blaming the manufacturer; the manufacturer is blaming the installer, and the installer is pointing its finger at the manufacturer. And while all the finger pointing is going on, we are left with defective unusable windows and ongoing damage to our house as a result. We have been in contact with and have documented emails, voicemails and texts from the original WN sales agent (John Doran), WN escalation team members (Hans Brown and Ashlyn Granger), and the owners of WN (Aaron and Harley Magden) all claiming that they will ‘resolve the situation’ and they ’will do the right thing’. Aaron Magden (owner) emailed us saying ‘please allow Harley and I to personally dig into so we can get your situation resolved. It’s embarrassing to hear what’s transpired as this is not the type of operation we run. Thanks for your patience and we profusely apologize for what you’ve endured’. That was September 6, 2022! We never heard from them again. We can no longer sit idly by while Window Nation fails to honor its end of the bargain. We’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and filed a formal lawsuit to compel Window Nation to honor its contractual commitments. More than 1 year is plenty of time for them to have resolved!

Reason for low rating is their non-responsiveness after install regarding issues. I don't know how I missed the Yelp reviews when checking out this company before I went with them. Unfortunately it seems that there is a common theme here reading through other reviews. I had windows installed, they look great. We took advantage of the "sale" as our home really needed new windows and the "no-payment financing until 2024" was attractive. My issues: measurements on 8 of my windows were off. Those windows were still able to be installed (they pretty much had to make those windows work because the old windows were off and it is December in NJ). Due to the mistake with measuring, we can not reuse our blinds. Do the math.....8 windows x $$$$ for new blinds/window treatments. The second issue is that there is damage to on of our interior window frames. I have tried contacting them several times and have received no response. I would NOT recommend this company.

Awful company DO NOT USE. Ordered windows 1 year ago. They took forever to come in. Install comes and installs broken windows. He tells me their not broken(glass is completely cracked). Window nation finally admits window is broken and orders a new one. We are now on 6 broken windows they have sent to my house. Their customer service is awful. Their employees are rude, arrogant, and do not know their job at all. I have been trying to get window nation to refund my money for months now they keep saying they will with zero reimbursement coming thru.

Window Nation is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I have been having an incredible amount of difficulty contacting anyone within the company to get any information on the issues I’m experiencing. I’m going to start from the beginning… First off we had a crew come out in December to install 19 windows for us. We found out that every single window was measured incorrectly (I would consider changing the name of “Professional Measure Tech” to something else since they couldn’t handle their one job properly). I was told l that I would be compensated for this incredibly large mess up. More on that later. Fast forward to April, about 17 weeks later. A crew came out to install my windows and immediately informed me that the large picture window was broken when they went to get it for the job. I figured things would be done with extra care after the first major screwup, but I guessed wrong. Luckily they were able to at least get 18 of 19 in. I guess I just need to play the waiting game again. A couple days later I go to open my new windows and what do I find? 10 out of the 18 and extremely tight and cannot open properly. I was utterly shocked that this happened especially after all the other nonsense I’ve had to deal with from this company, but the hits continued to keep rolling. I called 4/21 requesting someone come out and check the work and to fix the windows. I was told I would be contacted no later than Monday 4/25 to have a service scheduled. Surprise, I heard nothing. I was very patient and gave the company a couple more days. I reached out again on 4/28. Customer service said I would contacted by someone. No one called. I called again on 4/29, to which I was told that I would be contacted about scheduling a service call. Shockingly, no one was ever around to take my calls and I couldn’t even be put through to a voicemail because it was full (extremely unprofessional because no one can reach you). I got a run of the mill email from Harley Magden (on 4/29) about the job being completed and if we have any issues to call the number listed or write an email back to him… guess what? The call goes right back to customer service who can’t get ahold of anyone in the company. I sent and email to him, which no shock here, was not replied. I called again on 5/2 and customer service finally scheduled an appointment for a service guy to come out and fix the windows. Why did customer service schedule an appointment for me and not the person in the scheduling position within the company? It was because they weren’t available. Shocker. I finally had a guy come out on 5/11 to fix all the windows that weren’t properly done. Now my windows actually open. I guess I should count that as a small victory. While I’m dealing with the lack of staff that Window Nation apparently have, I get a notice in the mail from the finance company that the job is completed and payments are do. Who sent them that information because guess what?! I’m still waiting on a window to be installed. Why am I expected to pay for a job that the company hasn’t even finished yet? Not only that, but the compensation for the first mess up wasn’t applied and now all of these other screw ups which haven’t even discussed yet. I just want to have this job done, so that I do not have to deal with Window Nation again. Learn from my story and save yourself the headache. Stay far away from Window Nation.

This has been the absolute worst customer service experience that we have ever had to deal with. We ordered 11 windows and a storm door from window nation in 8/2021. The first install was 1/5 with 2 mis measured windows that were too large (the installer was fired after doing our measurements and no one came out to recheck), an incorrect sash with grids, a missing screen, a sliced screen, and two screens that looked like paper bags blowing in the wind. On 2/15 when door arrived, it was also too large and mis measured. The actual door company's installer came out and measured and when door arrived on 4/19 it was still too large and they had to sawzall 2 inches off the bottom of the door that left a gap at the top that they used windows installation tape to cover. Visibly upset we called our installation coordinator, Ashlyn Granger, and she was completely unphased by this and after knowing all of the headahces we have been put though with this company said "but how does it look?". We have an the installation manager coming out today, because I begged for it. I want other paying customers to know that there is a lack of communication, compassion, and customer service with this company. I am absolutely embarrassed to say that Window Nation did our windows and storm door, and when I tell people that we STILL do not have the correct storm door installed 8 months later and all of the issues that we have experienced, they are in complete shock and say they will NEVER use this company.

Will never use this company again and I suggest nobody else use them. They hire subcontractors who don’t know how to install a window. Then when you try to get someone to fix the work they messed up on, it takes weeks. Twice they never showed up when scheduled (after missing days of work). Then they fix it and try to make you pay full price for the 5 months of hassle, only to take off $500. Company has poor values and does not value their customers or work. Try to avoid at all cost. Avoid the headache. ON TOP OF THAT... they impersonate you for 5 star reviews without your permission. Should be totally illegal and will be looking further into this legally. If you used window nations please check reviews for fake reviews.
