They let me choose the soles I wanted. They gave me quite a wide range of choices. There was an anticipated problem because this was not a conventional old-fashioned leather shoes. It was one of these modern ones with a rubber sole and the rubber had deteriorated so they put a pad in there and I had to do a little pulling around to make the pad fit exactly right. I really do not blame them for that. He put a pad into it to replace the missing rubber and I had to make a little adjustment on but it was not a serious problem. It was expensive but that was what it cost. He did not do it quickly but he said he would not so it was not like he said I could get it. I will use them again in the future.
