Taylor Door LLC

I had to order the lockbox for a Therma Tru door. Therma Tru would not send it directly to me and I had to go through a dealer. Three dealers turned me down saying they would have to fix the door themselves. Taylor Door LLC was recommended by my locksmith, Elite in Cliffside Park. They ordered the part for me. Got it in a few days and I was able to install it myself. I would use them again for ANY issues with this door or custom parts.

Met with Jim at his shop and he talked us through the process of choosing the styles of doors, finishes, windows, and types of glass.   Very easy to work with and very helpful.  He listened to what we wanted and when he couldn't make the patio door himself, he found a vendor that made the exact type of door we were looking for. 
Later that week he came out for another consultation and to take measurements.  After a down payment was made, he called about six weeks later to schedule installation. His crew came promptly on the scheduled date and time and did an expert job of installing the doors and insulating the door jams.  Very professional, considerate and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. 
There was one issue with the type of glass for the side door, we had ordered rain glass and it had come clear.  I called Jim about it and he told me no problem and ordered the correct glass right away, a week later he personally swapped out the glass in the window at no cost to us. 
I can personally say that we have been extremely happy with doors, they look fantastic!  Jim and Taylor doors made the entire experience a pleasure.  I highly recommend Taylor Doors!

Fantastic! Lee and Rich (brothers) are extremely professional and excellent craftsman in installing or replacing doors. I was going to use Home Depot but they sub out an installing company rated F on Angie's List. Jim at the office was very knowledgeable and helpful in our choice of door, color etc. I would highly recommend Taylor for anyone needing a door. Taylor door manufactures the door right at their location. Lee and Rich took the time to make sure the door and area of the door was all caulked etc. and cleaned up the area upon leaving. I had a custom double glass Thermatru front door replacement. We used some existing moldings and a transom. Jim was able to work with me on this and he spent a great deal of time and effort to match everything in my home. He was also very knowledgeable about doors and had a first rate contractor install it. I felt confident that it would turn our well and it did. I plan to use Taylor Door for window replacements in the future. He really cares and is easy to work with. I highly recommend them. You will be happy.

I had four separate contractors come to give estimates. To be candid, this was a very difficult installation off the bat, tight spaces, staircase overhead, etc. The first contractor gave a quote to just replace the door, no new frame, and quoted $500 more than the contractor I went with. The second contractor came, looked and said he would get back with a quote but never did. The third contractor came, looked and muttered that I needed a good carpenter as he walked away. James Cangelosi of Taylor Door was amazing. Not only did he come out to look and give a quote, he came back a second time with his installer, a fantastic carpenter, and had him take a look at the install to make sure everything would work out. James spent time and was meticulous about every detail. The installation was great. Two carpenters worked on my installation and I couldn't be happier. The woodwork around the door was masterfully done also. It is now March 2013 and the door has survived Hurricane Sandy beautifully. I am very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to use Taylor Door again.

When I went to their showroom in August, I purchased two exterior doors, one storm door and two inside doors. I found the price to be a little steep but I had gone to two other suppliers, Doors Galore and Lowe's, and found the prices at Taylor Doors and the quality were better in comparison. I was told it would take 5 weeks for installation because of Labor Day and because the size of my back door needed to be custom made. Jim from Taylor Doors came to my house to measure the doors and then sent the installer, Lee to further measure again. Both were very professional and I accepted and the week after Labor Day, Jim called and said the doors were in and they would like to schedule the installation on Monday. Lee picked up the doors early Monday morning and was at my home with his crew at around 9:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the two inside doors they brought were not the ones I selected but the other three doors were correct. They immediately called Jimmy at the office and the situation was handled promptly and correctly and the correct doors were ordered. The three outside doors were installed on Monday and the inside doors were installed about 10 days later when they arrived. The work was done quickly, professionally and the clean up was done very well. I highly recommend Jimmy from Taylor Doors and Lee and his two brothers who installed my doors. In the spring I am planning to purchase another storm door and I will definitely go back to Taylor Doors and Jim and Lee.

Our house has many quirks, and the entry doors are no exception. The Taylor Door team made sure the doors fit well, were weather-tight, and attractive. They were craftsmen. An impressive job all around.
