This company is a scam. They provided an estimate of $2,800 for moving a two bdr apartment. The movers were three hours late. When the arrived, they said that it would actually cost $8,500. Unbelievable! I refused service. Then they went down to $5,000, which was still ridiculously high. Not only that, but they became very aggressive when I told them no. Lastly, they offer no insurance for damaged items. The coverage they provide is 60 cents per pound. So if anything gets damaged, you get pennies. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company to get back the deposit. These are complete crooks, do not hire them.

Their estimate was for 2307 lbs. On moving day, they complained that the load was too heavy and demanded $800 more than the estimate. When weighed upon delivery, the weight was 2139 lbs. So they charged $800 more to move nearly 200 lbs less. Upon arrival, 10 of our boxes were wet, with the many of the items inside soaked and irreparably damaged. Several other boxes were stacked upside down on the truck, even though these were store-bought boxes with the upside clearly marked. This caused additional damages. Overall, 30 of the 35 boxes appeared to have been badly mishandled. The two men that picked up the load (who were different than the people who dropped off) broke the apartment's storm door, the value of which was deducted from my security deposit by the landlord. The men that picked up the load were snarky and unprofessional. The pair that dropped off the load were very nice.
