Sorry, but I just can't recommend Macancela Landscaping. I called Manuel Macancela, the owner, on a Friday, and he came over to my house. We spoke extensively about a cleanup, thatching, seeding, fertilizing, plus a regular maintenance program. We agreed on a price. He seemed like a nice guy and said he would return the following Tuesday, if not sooner, to do the job ... but he never showed up. I called and even texted him to follow-up, but he could never be reached. Finally, a few days later, he called me to give me another date to do the work... but, once again, on the day he was supposed to show up and do the work, he called to reschedule the job a second time. Then, on the second rescheduled day, I waited for him the entire day... but (again) he never showed up. I called and texted him, to no avail. He never responded and he never showed up. In essence, he left me waiting on three occasions, without having the decency to call me back to explain. What an awful businessman... and what an awful company. He appears to be very unorganized and distracted... but he could have, at the very least, called me to let me know. I wasted three days (and money) waiting for Macancela Landscaping. They're not good at all... keep away!
