Gold Star Roofing and Construction

My experience with Gold Star was unprofessional and frustrating. The repairs were completed on 2/11/2024 and approximately 5 days later there was water damage/leaking in my middle room where the skylight is located. When I tried to call Gold Star about the problem they wouldn t return my calls and they basically vanished until I contacted Angi to find them to tell them about the damages. Someone finally came out so called fixed that area and told me they were not liable for repairing the middle room ceiling. So I called for someone to come out to fix my ceiling. Fast track to September 2025 I walked into my bathroom and the floor was covered with water (I almost fell also). There was leaking from my light fixture on the second floor bathroom. Called contractors they did a dry out and placed a tarp and sandbags on my roof. They will not fix my roof because it was due to poor workmanship from Gold Star. I was waiting for an estimate from new contractors and its estimate is approximately $11,000 to repair. So today 10/15/25 my roof still needs repair, my second floor bathroom ceiling is open above my shower/tub and my first floor living room ceiling has an open space from a dry out. This past weekend was a coastal storm and water was leaking from my second floor ceiling into my tub because it s still open. It hasn t even been a year and my roof is damaged from poor workmanship from Gold Star. I am not requesting a refund but I am requesting that someone from Gold Star come back out again and fix my roof and I will have someone check after them to pass inspection. Overall, I would say the experience was terrible and very frustrating. I shouldn t have to come out of pocket for anything because I paid for a service to be done and it wasn t done properly.

He said he was coming at 12 to match some colors showed up at 1:30. Then once he was there and met with us he said he was going to Home Depot and will be back in 30 minutes. He never showed up and didnâ  t answer his. Never resurfaced.

They were friendly and professional. They were On time. They did a beautiful job on our deck( rebuilding). They cleaned up very good and right away. Very satisfied

Fantastic job! They cleaned all the moss off our roof and now it looks like new! They came for the estimate right away, and did the job 2 days laterâ ¦and even cleaned up the mess! I would highly recommend them. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and dependable. Will call them again.

They did an excellent job, very professional and very friendly. The person in charge as well as the workers smiled and laughed which made us feel like they enjoyed what they did. We were always asked if we approved of anything they completed and if we wanted something changed it was changed. Great workers and great people!

Edgar was great to work with, he communicated throughout my shed roof replacement, and was priced fairly even when he uncovered additional damage to the roof. Also cleaned up everything! Would highly recommend and would use him again!
