The team showed up early, and were ready to start working at 8 AM when the job was scheduled. The workers were professional and kept busy. Tents and boxes were setup at the entry points of the work areas. The job was estimated to take 2 days but job wrapped up around 3:30 PM. No household items were damaged. The quality of the work was excellent, and it was obvious where care was taken not to damage the structure of the house. The work areas were immaculate (they better be for asbestos!).

They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They worked quietly and unobtrusively. My basement was cleaner when they left than when they arrived.
This company was sub-contracted by the company that was installing my boiler. I’m extremely pleased with the experience and recommend them highly.

It went beautifully, They arrived on time and sealed up the basement so that no asbestos would get into the rest of the house. They were incredibly efficient. And they left my basement in pristine condition!

When my boiler failed I needed to get estimates on replacement and only then did I discover that there was asbestos inside the old boiler that needed to be properly removed before workmen could replace the boiler. D and amp; S Restoration was not directly contracted by me. Rather the oil burner contractor sub-contracted the asbestos abatement to this company. The price was part of the overall estimate made by the oil burner contractor, and was not given to me by D and amp; S. I did get several estimates directly from asbestos abatement contractors and the price I paid was not the lowest or the highest. Still I feel it was a fair price and the work was done totally to my satisfaction. I had researched what needed to be done for safe and legal asbestos abatement and the workmen followed the procedures to the letter. They were on time, worked fast and efficiently, were very professional. courteous, and friendly and explained what they had done. They cleaned up completely and left the boiler room in my house cleaner than it had been when they arrived.

They arrived at my house on time. They explained to me what they were going to be doing and advised me that once they close out the basement I will not be able to to enter until the work is all done. After they were done with the removal they left to take the samples to the lab and an inspector came to test the air quality. They above and beyond what I expected. They made sure everything was clean before they left. My cost of $1,100 included the $200 mandatory fee that the state charges for a permit to have the work done.

I looked out my window about 10 minutes before the appointment and they were already here, sitting in the truck waiting until our appointment time. They knocked on my door right on the hour. There were 3 gentlemen performing the work. They were very efficient and were careful in setting up the containment tent. There was no damage done to our home during any part of the process. They set up proper ventilation and placed warning signs at every entry point. After about 5 hours the work was finished and they were very thorough. They even brought down to the garage our empty recycling bin which had been picked up during that morning and they let me borrow their extension ladder so I could clean out my gutters. I have a fair share of knowledge about construction and was very satisfied with the work they performed.
