Excellent Roofing and Chimneys

Not sure why so many good reviews. It took this company THREE TIMES coming back to get the gutter problem correct. The first appointment, they were a no-show and I had to call. When the office person answered the phone, she stated that she had no record of my appointment, even though I had made it one week earlier. When the foreman finally came out, he gave me a price that was significantly higher than expected for a gutter tune-up and a downspout reattachment. Being in a bind for time, however, I agreed to the price. He said he would have his guys out in a couple of days, even though I told the office that I knew exactly what was needed to be done. Why didn't they simply bring out the crew to do the work that day? I have no idea. After the tune-up, water still leaked profusely from where the downspout attached to the gutter. It took two additional call-backs for the crewmember to finally diagnose the problem -- dirt in the downspout. I'm sorry, but a skillful technician should have been able to diagnose the problem immediately. I should have known that he wasn't doing it correctly, because he never took a hose up to the gutters to flush them and see if his work was done correctly. Finally, on the third visit, he fixed the problem, but lazily. Additionally, when he took a screw off the downspout, he simply tossed it in my yard rather than disposing of it properly. Lastly, to prove that the water flowed down from the downspout, rather than a hose he used . . . a small Poland Spring water bottle. Never again.
