Great job by David. These pianos had not been tuned in about 10 years and David was able to bring them back to life for a reasonable fee. Very professional in all respects. I plan to use David again in a few months and then on a yearly basis. He knows his craft.

I felt this went extremely well considering it was pure communications going back and forth over my antique piano - sight unseen. I would recommend his service as being highly qualified in his field of work based on the data he provided me with.

This was my first foray into Angie's List. They can't all possibly be this good. Dave is very knowledgable, responsive, honest, forthright and even a very nice guy. Fixed the piano in no time flat at a most reasonable fee. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will definitely use his services in the future.

The piano was waaayyyy out of tune; so much so that my piano-teacher daughter couldn't stand to listen to it. Dave went way beyond tuning. He opened up the piano and removed the innards of the player mechanism so that he could clean it well. He also adjusted the mechanism that controls the amount of air being pumped into the bellows. He showed me how I could do some of the adjusting myself. I didn't expect that he would do all of that, but I am so grateful. I use the piano every single day to accompany my exercise routine, which is new to me. I hate to exercise. Exercising has become less tedious for me, and I can see the benefits already. This is the second time that David has been at my house. He estimated the charge for fixing an old family piano that I had inherited. That piano could not be salvaged. At that point, he explained in detail why the piano had reached the end of its rope. I give Dave my highest recommendation. I can't remember the date, but there is an article in the NY Times about him. You can Google it. He knows these pianos inside out. He's a real expert!

Dave is a friendly knowledgeable technician who repairs and tunes player pianos. There are not many who do. He diagnosed problem readily and repaired it on site. He has rebuilt parts previously for me. He is reliable and is used by some neighbors as well for non-player pianos. It was very difficult to locate this service provider on Angies List.
