This is the second time that David has been at my house. He estimated the charge for fixing an old family piano that I had inherited. That piano could not be salvaged. At that point, he explained in detail why the piano had reached the end of its rope.
I give Dave my highest recommendation. I can't remember the date, but there is an article in the NY Times about him. You can Google it. He knows these pianos inside out. He's a real expert!
He diagnosed problem readily and repaired it on site.
He has rebuilt parts previously for me.
He is reliable and is used by some neighbors as well for non-player pianos.
It was very difficult to locate this service provider on Angies List.
