ACS partially installed hardwood flooring in one room and left a huge jagged edged hazardous, sharp hole in an entryway. They left it like that. They never completed the work and walked away. They also put holes in drywall in several walls and scraped paint off doors and walls when moving furniture. When changing baseboard they took out my phone jack and it has been gone ever since They have refused to replace it. I had to find another installer to complete the work. I was told by other flooring contractors that ACS installed incorrectly, installing width wise vs length. Due to floor joists, this direction will not work. The flooring will sag and the entire thing has to be ripped up! Beware of this company.

They subcontract out their work with no quality control. Their installer did a tremendous amount of damage while installing carpet. ACS has been giving me the runaround, stated some of the damage was acceptable to them. ACS has passed the buck, and is saying it’s on the installers to make restitution even though ACS hired them, and is therefore responsible for their work. Avoid ACS at all costs.

Installers arrived early in the specified window. Quickly removed old carpet and pad. Replaced a few spike strips and got the new pad and carpet down. They finished by cleaning everything up and having me sign off that the work was done properly. They were fast and professional.

They did not come on the days promised, necessitating me to take extra days off work, without pay. After gutting the bathroom, they left because they didn't have the new unit. Came back a day later with bath/shower and installed, but did not have the Grohe hardware that I had ordered. They brought and installed an inferior/cheaper brand. It operates like an inferior brand. After a couple of weeks, we noticed 2 or 3 nail pops on the common walls. All in all, a very poor experience, with a Home Depot referred contractor. Based on my experience, ACS is an second rate, unscrupulous company. I find it hard to believe that Home Depot recommends them.

I would use them again if I needed to in the future and they gave me a wonderful experience.
