It went great. He had to change time of estimate but was responsible in letting us know about rescheduling. His price was good and fair for scope of job. He showed up as scheduled and had a good crew with him and machinery to perform job. He also ended up doing a few extra trimmings w/o charge when he saw branches that could cause problems in future. Neighbors seeing his work came over and had him remove trees for them too. He left the property in excellent condition with lots of mulch neatly organized from trees. Good experience. Highly recommend.

Great job, great clean up. There when you need them.

Tri County was working in Mendham helping to clear roads after Sandy. A local police officer, checking to be sure everyone on our street was physically safe, mentioned Pat and his crew were already out working. I asked the officer to mention our situation to them. In less than 2 hours, Pat, crew and equipment were on site!
The tree was a very old one and required a crane to remove, but Pat knew that crane availability after the storm would be difficult for as much as two weeks. He used his cherry-picker to raise the tree up off the roof and cut it down with a chain saw in three-foot increments. This took him over 4 hours to complete. They rotated men through the difficult sawing job, but it was still very difficult labor. They persisted until the tree was completely cleared and the wood stacked for drying away from the house.
We were quite traumatized by the hurricane and damage to our home, but through the support of good neighbors and reliable businesses like Tri County, we recovered very quickly. They will always be our first call for tree service of any kind.

We had used Tri-County Tree at a prior residence and had such a good experience, we called them when we moved to our new home. Two mature trees were too close to the home and needed to be removed. There were also several trees with a lot of dead wood that required removal, and a few trees needed some pruning. Additionally, we needed the trees on the property evaluated for health and any other issues. Tri-County Tree owner, Pat, is terrific at providing a lot of information about the trees, extremely knowledgeable about tree pests and illnesses, and provides several options for treating the trees. He is not quick to recommend cutting down the tree just to make a profit. The work is excellent and clean up is very well done.
