 + 0 moreI own is a 1981 Corvette which has 36,000 miles on it & I am the original owner of it. I came in to have the antenna replaced and decided to replace my whole sound system. I was told it would take about 2 hrs. I brought the car in at 9:00 a.m. & ended up have to leave it overnight. Upon pick up, I noticed the dash was not replaced properly and they are telling me that is how it was when I brought it in! The front desk person (Rory) in deceptive and lied to me about making good on their faulty work. I paid much more than what was quoted and am now stuck. Don't use this place & if you do, do not pay until you thoroughly review their work!! That was my mistake. I hope to post this review everywhere to spare others what i am going through. I also intend to take them to small claims court.

Description of Work: I treated my (used Dodge Durango 2004) new purchase to a day at the spa at Sound Waves because all original stereo and locking system were a big letdown, Bluetooth is great and I wanted it! I have a lifetime experience to draw upon with car stereo places, so here I go! I was not paid or compensated in any way, and the work was done a month or so ago. This place is a big step above all the others in that they installed everything properly and even handled a all door locking issue that was affected by a previous owner install of chrome aftermarket door handles, the key lock system was intermittent but kinda scary. I work in far away places and never wanted to have to call AAA in Manhattan, Jersey City or Hoboken while parked and waiting. A simple part was installed on their suggestion, I OK'd it and couldn't be happier- works all doors every time! Their front desk people seemed to have been high-end installers previously because they really knew their stuff! The installer came out to meet me at my request and explained his install, I felt a tip was in order, I only tip based on my satisfaction level, this one was upper level ! When it comes to surgery we seek out and buy based on our research. When someone is going into the wiring system under the dashboard of my car, I will go to a professional like this place only!

The installation crew was very professional and they went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were satisfied. They were very knowledgeable about the system and were able to answer all our questions. They alsocompleted the job in the time that was promised. They have followed up via email a couple of times to make sure we were satisfied and that everything was working properly.

Description of Work: Installed remote start and security system in my 2016 Mazda. Since the car was so new, another shop tried and failed for a week to get the job done.
