Property Appraisal
RDI was used by my bank for a home loan on a home purchase. I purchased the home at a discounted rate. They appraised the home for $12,000 less than what the home sold for 4.5 years ago, which was just $3,000 over my purchase price. It was also less than the county's assessed value. I should have come away with much more instant equity in the home. They did not use similar homes for the comparison. Our communities home market is booming. I feel This company is lazy and just trying to make sure the home appraises for what your mortgage is, rather than doing an actual home appraisal. If the was a refinance, there is no way the home would appraise for so low.

I do not recomment h\the company since the it was $550 out of pocket expense for nothing.
