GID / Darius did an AMAZING job. During the initial consult, we spent a lot of time together discussing what I had in mind for the guest bath. We went back and forth for 90 minutes and Darius was easy to talk to the entire time. By the time they left I was comfortable moving forward on the project and had all my questions answered. During the project, they were very professional and showed up on time every day. Communication was excellent throughout the project. GID holds themselves up to the highest expectations and guarantees their work. Living in a condo with close neighbors, and remodeling noisy as it is, I think GID cared more about my neighbors than I did! Daily clean-up was excellent. If I had questions throughout the project they were very kind in listening. As for the work? Absolutely visually perfect, and I can be anal about things. The work WAS NOT RUSHED and was DONE WITH CARE. I saw how much care went into every step and no corners were cut. They are the kind of team you don't need to stand over, which is a load off my mind. The master bathroom work was an afterthought after the great job they did on the entire guest bath. I quickly asked they go right into the next bathroom when they finished. They waited until I had a 100% functional guest bathroom before moving on to the master. When I received a new quote for the master bath shower I left the first scheduled payment and left for vacation. When I got back, the master bath was looking amazing. Again, the tile work was EXCELLENT. In both bathrooms, I requested 1ft vertical mosaic in line with the shower head and 12x24 tile (vertical) everywhere else. The detail was so much so that they aligned the 12x24s with the mosaic on the opposite side of the shower stalls for a perfect mirror image. Look I can go on all day about the details on what they got right, but overall GID is on point and I would highly recommend them. I have plans for more with them in the next 60 days. Finding a good "Handyman" isn't as easy as you would think, and I'm glad I have someone to trust with my next projects. Thank you.

Job was very poorly done. The marble floor is uneven, the marble in the shower slopes and is uneven, grout wasn't done properly, When I requested he fix one of the very uneven tiles on the floor, he had an attitude and told me that it wasn't him, it was that the tiles are uneven in size. Darius pays no attention to detail, and didn't put the finishing touches on my job

They were excellent, because they treated me like a valued person. I knew exactly what they were doing. Contacted me before and there were no surprises in the cost of the material. He told me what he was doing every step of the way and asked me how he wanted it done every time. Gave me honest answers through out the service. Very nice, professional, and clean.

Bathroom came out great. He was very helpful in choosing colors, materials and fixtures. He was reliable and neat. Work was done on time and we were very pleased. Would recommend.

The first day, Darius covered everything with plastic so the rest our house would not get dusty from the bathroom renovation.  Darius always came on time when he was working for us, even came on the weekends. Even though we ran into some major structural problems from the old builder, Darius came up with some great support ideas and fixed all our issues so we can pass inspections.From picking out the tile to the color of the paint that would look wonderful in our bathroom, Darius had great ideas. Please don't pass up the opportunity to have work done by Darius he was wonderful and yes he will be back to work on some more projects in our home. Our new shower is amazing!

After meeting with a total of five contractors, three of whom I found on Angie's List, I knew right away that Darius would be my choice.  His pricing was right in the mix of the others and most importantly, he wasn't a sales guy.  This is his company, he's actively involved on the job site every, single day and he's not running multiple jobs at once.  I always felt he had my best interest in mind and he and his assistants were VERY, VERY, VERY neat and tidy.  Did I mention he was neat?  We've previously had tons of problems with other companies that make a complete mess of your house, bang walls and all they can do is say they're sorry whilst I'm looking at a hole in my wall.  Darius was the complete opposite. 
Bottom line is that you should at least interview Darius and give him an opportunity to provide a quote.  You won't be disappointed.  I'm looking forward to using Darius on my kitchen next as he has a great eye for design that even my wife appreciated!

• Had a few broken and cracked tiles in the kitchen.
• Contractor fixed them all, got the materials and caused minimum disruption.
• Best part was he only asked for his helpers daily rate and did not try to overcharge
• in any way.  He got a good tip.  Trustworthy guy.  

Darius was very professional.  He was knowledgeable and immediately knew what needed to be done.  He made good suggestions and explained the work very well.  He provided many helpful advice.  He helped with tile selection etc and the pros and cons of different choices.  He worked with me and discussed foreseeable issues and suggested good solutions (there was a layer of another tile as it turned out after the first layer was removed). He genuinely cares about the doing high quality work, and the finish was excellent.  The bathroom looks beautiful.
The entire process was very smooth from tile shopping to finish.  I would hire him again.

Darius and his team completed two projects in our home in Summit NJ. The most challenging one was adding a shower to a half bathroom which had little extra space available. Darius had a very good eye for what had to happen to make the bathroom both look good and be functional. Two main attributes of GID make them stand out from any other contractor we've worked with. First, even after a major demolition job, the work area was very clean at the end of the day.  We had people visit our house during the renovation and comment that they wouldn't have known work was being done in our house had they not seen the area, because of how clean the work site was left after each day.  Second, (and the most important from our perspective) was the fact that when issues came up, such as vanities, toilets, etc. not fitting in our space or not looking good given the room to work in, Darius made us being happy with the end result his #1 priority. To meet this end, he offered to do any work necessary to make that happen without charging us extra, no questions asked. This, in our opinion, is a company that exhibits true professionalism and is out to earn lasting customer relationships.
In addition, the scope of this job entailed performing  electrical, construction, and plumbing work. All inspections on this work passed without any issues.

Darius was prompt and efficient.  The bedroom square footage was larger than the deal posted, but he worked with me and names a very fair price.  He was prompt efficient and very knowledgeable about painting and other household issues.  I would definitely use him again.

It went very well. They're very professional, cleaned out after, took about 2 days and did a good job in cleaning out in between and at the end, so they're very neat, and they did a very good work for what thought was a reasonable small price. Other than the fact they're professional, I think they offered a service that was with reasonable value. He was responsive, I called him three times and either got back to me within an hour or answered his cellphone. He was on time every morning. We did use him again.

Another great job!  Again found issues behind the walls and below the floor, but handled easily and reasonably.
GID stays on the job until done and helped us every step in picking tiles, colors and overall design.  Top quality work.

They were excellent.  His attitude, service, and cleanliness were very good.  His work was spotless.

After we purchased the deal, the contractor called us within a day to schedule the work. He was accommodating of our schedule and did the work for us on a Saturday. Since the room we wanted painted was more than the one allowed in the deal, he charged us $70 more which we thought was fine. He helped empty the room, took out the fixtures and covered the floor. Very neat and clean. Will use his services in the future.

Darias offered to go shopping with me for the materials; tile, fixtures, vanity, shower doors, etc. I have never completely renovated a bathroom before and after looking at his portfolio of all of the ones he has done I thought he would be a good resource. I took him up on his offer. We spent two consecutive days shopping and buying stuff, he knew all the places to go and get good prices too!
He has excellent taste and he actually came up with the design idea for the accent tile in the stall shower. It came out absolutely magnificant. The bathroom looks twice the size, he is amazing. Not only does he have great design ideas, but he works hard, fast, neat, and pays very close attention to detail. He will not stop until the job is done and done to perfection. You can be sure that when he is doing the work it will not only look wonderful on the outside, it will be correct on the inside. He DOES NOT CUT corners. These days, in my opinion, that is a rare commodity.

Darius was very patient and listened to my concern. We made a few trips to tile stores and he explained the pros and cons of each materials. When a problem came up he was able to fix the issue after notifying me immediately. He recommended a sliding glass door which we ended up doing. He was very knowledgeable in design and materials. He was very easy to work with.

Only advice is to make sure work all expected is documented in contract upfront, which is a good practice anyway.

He promptly called to make the appointment, came on time, and did a quality job repairing the ceiling.  I was very pleased, and would use this company again, and would recommend him to others in terms of any type of sheet rock repair services.

Darius is very professional, punctual and did the job with perfection. He also worked around me (as i did the electrical). He also brought great design ideas & optimal (cost & function) solutions that probably saved me a ton. He also accommodated last minute changes in plan - installing a cabinet that wasn't planned for.

Overall, the experience was good. Their price was fair. They did a great job, finished the work quickly, and everything went well.

Although we are not complete,  he is very professional, timely and trustworthy.  Great company to do work with.

The work began a week prior to the original start date,  the first day the room was gutted at this point it was determined that the ceiling would need to be reframed, at an additional fee that was quite reasonable. The next day the framing was done and then the electrician needed to come in and do rough wiring.  Wednesday was an off day as the electrician did not come until after 5:00 p.m..  Thursday sheet rock was cut and put up, along with a new closet door.  Friday, tape and spackle was done and Saturday, more spackle.  Monday room was painted and that was the job.  All in all I would recommend quick worker, neat worker and completed on time.  We would recommend him he did a good job.
