minor repair, office was ok, tech was on time and professional. no complaints. only point of improvement is price, i could (should) have done better on price by shopping around, or asking for discount on service call.

It was a brand new house (for me -- the place was builti n 1864) and I had no idea where it vented. Turned out the guy had climb outside a tiny, tiny window in a third floor tower onto the roof and destroy a wasps nest on the exterior exhaust before he could even begin the the repair. He did it all with exceedingly good humor and speed. No extra charge. Loved that guy. Then -- cause I asked him to, for no extra charge he took a whack at figuing out what was wrong with the subzero fridge that never got below 40 degrees. He was right about that too.

Pete's Major Appliance Co's work was better than average. It was not great, it was okay. They had to come back a couple of times. The first time around, they said they were going to get a part. There was a part that was a big run-around and eventually they said they do not make it anymore so they can't get it. That was a little bit of their demeanor, on the phone, I wasn't very happy with them. They were a little bit brusk or haughty as if I needed them more than they needed a customer. I didn't have a good vibe or feeling in terms of how pleasant it was dealing with them. I think they have a little bit of an attitude to some extent, they maybe the only service operator within a certain area for some of the higher end appliances. When they did work and has the part, it was a good job probably on the expensive side but they are confident. I will not use them again if I can avoid them but if they're the only contractor that provide services for a particular appliance then I might. I don't think they were horrible but I can't give them a really great endorsement either.

We were having trouble getting the refrigerator fixed bc it was leaking. The problem was fixed within minutes. I would highly recommend.

I actually liked everything about them. They were quick, they gave me a specific time and they got there on the same time they said they would. He looked at it first, he told me what was wrong and he gave me the prices. Everything was great. The pricing was excellent.

They were very good. It cost a lot of money. I had to buy a whole piece when I should have been able to buy a little piece. However, it was not their fault but the manufacturer made the piece expensive. They were good. I was comfortable in having them in the house. They were timely. They called before they came so that I knew that they were on their way and I like that type of thing. The price was not their fault and that was the appliance itself. The quality of their work was excellent. Their responsiveness was very fine. Their punctuality was good and I thought that their professionalism was equally as good. I have used them more than once.

Horribly. My Viking Freezer has been icing up and leaking, pouring water out the front of the freezer that puddles all over the floor, under the unit and around the whole front of unit. Now there is damage to the wood floors. The first guy that came just said it was a problem with the gasket, which I argued was not the problem, but he ordered one anyway which I paid for, and someone came back to install. It was not the problem. Third guy came and checked out part of the compressor, cleaned it out and replaced a part. Thought it was fixed. Problem started again, but they DO NOT GUARANTEE THEIR WORK AFTER 30 DAYS. Not even calling me back

I have used Pete's a number of times in the past 10 years to service our European make appliances (Asko washer/dryer and Bosch oven). Their phone scheduling is courteous and the service is reasonably prompt (usually within the week) and professionally handled. We usually see the same technician, which makes for a nice continuity in service. For this last service call, our Asko dryer was overheating and cutting off. The technician went through all possible causes before determining that our lint filter needed a more thorough cleaning. If I felt a little sheepish in having paid for something so easily resolved, I appreciated the technician's detailed information during the visit, and will continue to use them for future service. Unfortunately, they don't service GE appliances, or I would use them for the rest of my major appliances, too.

We had repeated problems with our refrigerator and they had to come about 7 times to fix it. They were really good and they were always trouble shooting with Bosch and tried to get it resolved. They were one if the companies that did Bosch warranty work. They were pleasant to deal with and they came when they said they would. I would continue to use them in future.

THEY WERE ON TIME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE. THE REPAIRMAN DID A GREAT JOB FIXING THE STOVE. THE ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE WAS THE FACT THAT THEY OVER CHARGED ME FOR THE WORK.

THEY CAME TWO WEEKS AFTER MY INITIAL CALL. THEY CAME WHEN THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO COME AND DID THE WORK QUICKLY. THEY WERE POLITE AND COURTEOUS. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.
