The service before, during and after the job was awesome, The estimator was on time and was very knowledgeable, The installers were on time and very talented and thorough, and very detail oriented. Job came out extremely nice. Would highly recommend Victorian Floor Finishing. They have also done other repair work for me and they did a superb job of color matching an existing floor saving me from having to replace the entire floor.

Victorian did a beautiful job, showed up when they said they would, and left my house in better shape than they found it.

I was very happy with Victorian Flooring. They were very professional and did a great job. My floors came out really nice and any little touch ups that were needed they happily took care of. They were reasonably priced and did high quality work. They did not ask for payment until I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend Victorian flooring to anyone.

I am extremely pleased with the job Victorian did bringing our old, painted, and beat up wide-plank pine floors back to life. Our house was built in 1790 and the floors were put in then. Victorian was very organized, followed up promptly, and got the work done in record time. It was not an easy job. Various areas needed to be repaired by using existing pine wood from my unfinished attic floor. Then, removing the old paint was challenging and time consuming. The finished product is absolutely beautiful!

They were great! Worked quick and cleaned up! Definitely will use for any future projects! Also fair pricing!!

The install, sanding and finishing took about 2 weeks to complete-they usually worked Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our 90 year old house was not totally level, but the guys were able to build up the floor doorway and now it's completely level! During install, the guys were diligent and covered everything in plastic. The process was messy but they were great about cleaning up and not making a huge mess. The guys were very professional and hard workers! Would recommend to anyone who needs floors done!

Floors looked great. I was concerned about not getting stain on the newly installed kitchen cabinets. Victorian covered them well and there was no problem. Crew was polite and completed work in timely fashion.

Went great.  Much better than a recent rehab by a closer to home contractor. I will definitely go back to Victorian next time.

The workers arrived on time and the entire job was completed on schedule. The sanding was done with minimal particles escaping the room. I was very pleased about this.
For the stain, there were several colors to choose from on the truck and we were able to select one that worked well with the room and the color of the other floors in adjoining rooms. 
The finish coats were done on schedule. The floors are beautiful. They did an excellent job. The workers were efficient and professional. 
 Recommendation were made for a cleaning product to protect the floor which was appreciated. It was also recommended we schedule a screening in a couple of years to maintain the floor and avoid having to have the major repair we needed this time which we plan to do. 

I am a tile setter with 15 years of residential and commercial experience and I would recomend Victorian to everyone.

I would recommend them to anyone getting any hardwood refinished and I will be using them in the future. Price was slightly higher than others but quality of work, especially the materials used, was top notch more than making up for the difference.

Great, quality results.  I was amazed at the outcome.  The house is 80 years old, the floors were beat up, and there were 2 different wood types.  The team was large, prompt, fast and very professional.  They called me in to look over the samples they selected based on my request before starting to stain the floor.  They take all steps necessary to keep the dust from spreading around the house, and follow up exactly when they say they will.  It is worth the price in the end.  We can't stop admiring our revived floors.

They came and worked hard each day, always stopping to let us know if a decision was to be made, be it on color or whether boards needed to be replaced.  Never just went ahead and did what they wanted to do. We were always engaged.

We were trying to match a particular color of stain (to match the stairs to the floor downstairs).  They came close.  The process is done in three stages, and in between each stage, you must be VERY careful of the un-finished floor (no walking for a while, then only socks and NO getting it wet).  They insisted on scheduling step one on a Thursday, and couldn't come back to do stage 2 until the following Monday which was HIGHLY inconvenient for my family of small children and pets.  They didn't seem to understand that.  Also, they were very careless about the paint on the surrounding walls and didn't use any painter's tape to cover the walls or baseboards while they were working on the stairs.  Consequently, I had to have the newly painted walls REpainted after they were finished.  The quality of the finish on the stairs itself is very good and quality workmanship (no streaks or air bubbles), but I wish they had been a little more considerate of the rest of the house and family. 

They charged me about $2300 for the job. This was my first experience with them. Everything went well with them. They were efficient and very helpful in determining whether to stain or not to stain. They did a good cleanup. I would recommend them because they really know what they are doing. They are helpful in making decisions on whether or not to replace the floors or to stain. They are very patient and very easy to work with. I will use them again in the future.

First he came out and did the second floor (three bedrooms and hallway) in November of 2008. They looked so amazing I hired him to re-do the first floor (living room, dining room, bathroom, sunroom and kitchen) and the stairs that the first guy I'd hired three years earlier didn't get right. He really does amazing work. Taped our whole kitchen to cover appliances and cabinets too. Can't say enough good things about them- great work! People comment all the time how much better our floors look now!

I was very pleased with the job Victorian Floor Finishing did. They were courteous and very professional, starting and finishing exactly when they said they would, advising me of other options I could have chosen if I wanted more or different services (e.g. staining the baseboard molding), and leaving instructions on floor care. They masked the area completely, and left the work area clean when finished. I feel the price was quite reasonable. I am definitely going to call them first when we do the rest of our floors.
