Description of Work: Scott tuned my Yamaha YUS5 upright piano which had been tuned about 6 months ago. He, first, showed me how to change the pads for the Dampp Chaser, then proceeded to tune the piano. It took approximately an hour and then he tested it my playing some scales. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: We got an old piano a few weeks ago with a couple of unresponsive keys. I initially contacted Scott for just a tuning but it turned out quickly that more work was needed, which he undertook promptly. Scott is very knowledgable and explained everything that needed attention in detail. Everything is fixed now and works beautifully and while I hope that no larger repairs will be needed for a while, I will certainly call Scott when the piano needs tuning again.

Description of Work: Our first encounter with Scott Monetti was when we answered his ad for a used baby grand piano. We ended up buying the piano - it was everything he said it was, and we've been very happy with it. Scott helped us find a piano mover and came to our house at the same time as the mover to make sure the piano was delivered safely. (It was at least a 45-minute drive for him.) We called him about a month later to tune the piano, and to install a piano humidifier system. Scott also checked over the piano we were selling and helped us to find information about it - free of charge. The information helped us sell our piano. Scott knows a lot about pianos, and he really cares about his customers and his instruments. We would not hesitate to use him again, and recommend him highly. |
