Wow! Scott not only tuned our piano by ear for a great price, but he also fixed our piano bench, and the piano's music stand, which was mistakenly screwed on backwards by the movers. The piano now sounds beautiful, thanks to Scott! We plan to use him again regularly.

It went well. When he came in, I explained that I needed my upright piano to be "tuned and fixed", since I couldn't remember the last time that it had any work done on it. The first thing noticed was that the lid was a little broken since someone had opened it the wrong way previously, and Monetti immediately saw the problem and fixed it. Then he explained to me how the tuning would work: if I wanted it to be tuned as best as it could be with only one session, that was an option. Or I could shoot for perfect pitch with repeated sessions (full cost each session). He didn't push for perfect pitch. He sat and tuned the piano for a good hour. While doing so, he answered questions that I had with full honesty. For example, if I wanted to get rid of that clicking sound my 15-year-old piano was making with certain keys, I would need to pay for expensive voicing, which he noted was not worth it given the age of the piano. And the clicking sound actually softened considerably after the tuning. Overall, I am satisfied.

I was overjoyed that Scott was able to fix all of the keys and adjust the piano. Every key works now. He did an excellent job. The piano sounds beautiful.

it seems reasonably well. we are not music literate yet so hard to judge the quality of the tuning, but i can definitely say the piano sounds better than before.

Contacted Scott on a Thursday, he responded almost immediately and came to my home the following morning. My piano was in very bad need of a tune up. Scott took his time and did an excellent job. Piano sounds great now. Will definitely have Scott return to tune the piano on a regular basis.

Great. I used Angie's list to find him and then sent them an email through their website on Sunday afternoon. Scott responded on Sunday! And a couple of emails later we had an appointment set-up for the following day! Presidents' Day! I thought I'd need to wait at least a month! Scott came and knocked it out. Very happy we found him. We'll be using him again in 6 months.

Scott Monetti has been tuning and taking care of my grand piano for years now and I have always been very pleased with his work. The tunings have been spot on and his knowledge of the inner workings of pianos is awesome. He is very professional and arrives promptly on time. Scott did a great job. He tuned the piano so it sounds great, and showed us an issue with this older piano, but in no way tried to upsell us to do the repair. He even went so far as to say that it could be done down the road, and pointed out that the cost wouldn't change if it was done 2 years from now. He was extremely professional and we would definitely hire him again.

Scott was fantastic. Replied immediately to my scheduling request and was here when promised, less than 24 hours after I contacted them. Tuned the piano, fixed the sticky keys, checked on our piano's humidifier and replaced the pads, and gave me a pretty neat lesson in piano construction.
