Jacob is the ultimate professional. New shades were going to costs thousands and he was able to repair them for a fraction of the costs. Would 100 percent recommend Jacob for all your blinds/shades needs.

I got in touch with North Jersey Blinds to have one of my blinds repaired. I had tried a few other places but felt I was getting the runaround about the work and how long it might take. In the end, I thought they just wanted me to buy a new set of blinds. But from the first moment I spoke with Jacob on the phone, he impressed me as someone whose word could be trusted. He said he would tell me right away if he could fix the blind or not, so I wouldnâ t waste any money. He arrived exactly on time, which in itself spoke volumes, and stretching himself out on the floor where my blind was laid out, he analyzed what the problem was and proceeded to expertly restring my blind, which took about 15-20 minutes. He talked as he went along, saying this string goes here and then through that string, etc. Itâ s a pleasure to watch someone at work who knows what theyâ re doing. Then he rehung the blind for me, made a few last-minute adjustments, and it looked just perfect. I thought what he charged me for an in-home visit was more than fair and I wouldnâ t hesitate to call on him again in the future. He struck me as the kind of person who takes genuine pride in doing a good job for an honest price.

I have a trio of Hunter Douglas shades, which I love. One of them broke. The company was terrific in helping with the part and Jacob was BRILLIANT in deconstructing and reconstructing the entire shade mechanism. It is such a relief to find someone as capable as he. He takes pride in his work; deservedly so.

THE STRING RIPPED on our PELLA WINDOW which has an ENCLOSED SHADE, therefore the shade was totally inoperable. Everything else was working 100% on our bathroom casement window... just the blind string was broken, but Pella no longer services repairs on the shades of their 20+ year old windows! They suggested finding a blind repair company, or buying an entirely new $4000 window! After extensive searching for a company to repair the shade, and multiple rejects, Jacob Shemech of NORTH JERSEY BLINDS came to our rescue! We cannot say enough praises for Jacob Shemech! He is a very very nice person to work with. Right away Jacob said the blind was completely repairable and, after inspecting the window, replacing the window would not be necessary at all! Jacob was able to completely repair the blind, and replaced ALL the strings. All for a very reasonable price. He is an expert engineer, and a delightful man. We cannot express enough thanks to Jacob!
