Horribly!

Don't use: I am so happy to have ABC construction out of my house and life. Possibly the most unprofessional owner Chuck Masters & possibly the worst construction companies on the face of the earth. ABC came to our house 1 morning in Sept and took the existing kitchen apart and left my family with three children under age 10 without a working sink for 2 months. The owner Chuck "GC" does not have clue how to treat people, nor does he care. He was verbally abusive to my wife on several occasions over the phone. The "GC" Chuck never answered my phone calls, always got voice mail,but most of time that was full. If we did get a call he was looking for money. Chuck never would give job updates as to status of being done or when we could expect his 1 employee to come. If he has your money you wont hear from him. We paid for half the job up front on July 20th then the other half plus change orders when cabinets came in Oct. Unbeknown to us we were missing 2 Cabinets, 2 pieces of crown molding, The light rails, roll out draws and silver ware divider. All was paid for in full when cabinets were delivered. I physically went to the cabinet place in Totowa where ABC bought our cabinets and I bought "again" my missing stuff. Chuck's was always late to our job or wouldn't come at all for weeks. We would get 15 min notice if coming by text message. Quality of work is fair at best (everything is rushed). Basically only 1 (rushed) full time worker whose a glorified handy man accompanied by 1 day laborer. Luis, Chucks only employee was a decent person who did do decent work was caring and compassionate about the way we were treated by Chuck. We did receive some credits from Chuck! I think because I withheld his final payment until everything was done in my kitchen and sorted out. Still the credit dont amount up to the heart ache of dealing with Chuck! He told us face to face in July that our kitchen would only take 10 days. It took ABC to finish our 10x12 kitchen 3 Months.

Answered ad to have my 5x7 bathroom refurbished with new tub, sink, vanity & counter, toilet & tile. Job was supposed to take no more than a week. Lack of professionalism in terms of measurements, inacurrate ordering, timing of projects, saw the project go one for 51 days (!), most of the time depriving me of bathroom plumbling. Had to move all my toiletries into the kitchen for several weeks. No sink, no tub, no shower, and no concern or consideration on the part of this company. Left me to believe for some time that I was going to have to hire another company to fix & complete the project. Contractor deceived me regarding ability to supply vanity/counter/sink, and so added substantially to the project overall cost. Difficult and mostly impossible to reach him (Chuck Masters) as he rarely answers phones, allowing voicemail to be full, and then ignores most messages. I lived in h*** most of this summer because of their inability to deliver as promised. Up to the very end, I had to run around to find tile he had failed to order, though he constantly swore it was "secured". Liar and not at all professional. After several weeks into the project, I found that vendors he had sent me to for major items were no longer doing business with him. Found out only by calling them for status of orders. Confronted, he told me to find some other places and order on my own. No contractor discounts. Increased costs & he refused to give adequate credit. Avoid making the mistake of believing him about anything.
