They came out to replace my hot water heater a while back. The service was great, no issues with the installation or technicians. My problem lies that months later I realized the township never contacted me for the post install inspection. I called the township and the told me a permit was never filed by them. The permit cost was part of the installation price. I immediately called them and asked what happen. No one had a good answer. I had to call multiple times and I kept getting told they would pass the info along. Here we are I believe 3 years later and they still never filed the permit.

Great job on both tasks. Archer is responsive, professional, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. Mike was great; answered all my questions and took care of everything. When there was a problem with the faucet I chose, he went above and beyond to address the issue and provided me the advice I needed. I plan to use Archer again for work in my master bathroom.

I called in the morning explained my problem. within two hours Mike and Mike responded and repaired my bathroom faucets. Dave and Jesse repaired my shut off valve to the whole house. Both of these repairs were not easy. Working in cramped spaces with not much light and room to move around in. these men know their business. I would recommend them highly.

Good work, but prices higher than others.

All went well. Provided fair estimate and explained what was needed along with risks of cutting pipe, etc. Replacement of cracked cast iron could've snowballed into bigger issues. Careful work was done to ensure scope of work stayed as planned. Very happy with results. Would definitely recommend.

They provided good quality workmanship and professionalism for the services rendered. They arrived as scheduled and effectively communicated to me what the problems were and then repaired them. It was an older faucet, so a part was needed to be ordered to repair the faucet, and they returned a few days later to complete the job as promised. As for the toilet it was an older one and probably will never function like new again, but they were able to get it running/flushing more efficiently and its sufficient to use.. I would recommend using William Archer and Sons for future work and to others.

Recently, I had a kitchen counter replaced and the old sink removed. I was told I would need a plumber to connect the new sink. I have used Archer before and have always been satisfied with their work. The work required a foot or two of PVC piping and some fittings. The plumber was there for 1 hour and 10 minutes. I couldn't believe the price when he told me it would be $600.00 for a few dollars worth of parts and 70 minutes of work. I know plumbers are expensive but I thought this high charge was unwarranted.

Very well. They were on time and did good job, new sink looks good. Price reasonable. Cleaned up after themselves.

John Archer of William Archer & Sons is a consummate professional. He showed up at our home as promised, despite a short-notice request, and was knowledgeable, quickly addressing all concerns. John thoroughly described how the sump pump should work, patiently explained repair options and charged a reasonable rate for the service. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Archer Plumbing because it's a family-owned business established almost 50 years ago that still demonstrates great customer service and charges competitive rates for excellent work.

My tenant's water heater wasn't working. The flame would turn on for about 1 or 2 seconds, then shut off.  I called William Archer & Sons on a Sunday and spoke to John.  I asked him if they could please come Monday morning.  John said he would call me between 8:30am and 9:00am on Monday.  On Monday morning, John did, in fact, call me at 8:40am to tell me he was on his way.  John and another employee arrived promptly.  John looked at the water heater and immediately knew what the problem was.  He explained that it was most likely that the flame sensor wasn't detecting that the flame had turned on.   He took out the burner assembly and cleaned out the sensor, as well as vacuumed inside and outside the base of the water heater to make sure that the area was clean, such as to allow oxygen to reach the burner.

The water heater is now working normally.   I was very happy with their professionalism and how they clearly explained the problem to me.  I was also very happy with the cost of the service and would definitely use them again.

Dave arrived on time and was courteous. The work was completed to our satisfaction in a timely manner.

They did a very professional and thorough job. The arrived on time, took about 90 minutes to get the job done and cleaned up very well afterwards. They are my go-to plumbers from now on!

John delivered a first class and excellent service.  He was prompt, courteous and very professional.  I had called Archer & Son as I had a leaky pipe underneath the kitchen sink and to also replace the faucet.   He explained that part of the copper pipe was rotting and recommended to replace it with plastic pipe to avoid similar issues in the future.  I also asked him to check my toilet flush as I thought it was not working properly but he was very honest by saying that there was nothing wrong with it, only the handle was loose, which he tightened and that he would also replace the flapper at no additional charge.  He was so kind that I asked him also to check my bathroom sink as the water was draining very slowly.  He went above and beyond, using 3 different tools to unclog it.   This also at no additional charge.  After everything was done, he cleaned up all the mess, although I told him I would take care of it.  Before leaving, he once again checked to make sure that the new pipe underneath the kitchen sink had no leaks.

I am very happy and satisfied with the service and I will definitely use Archer & Son again.   I recommend anyone in need of plumbing service.

The person that arrived to perform the work was one of the owners.  He was very courteous, friendly and professional. The work was completed in a timely fashion. David was very courteous, identified himself and reviewed my concerns prior to starting work. I had another company come out the day before and left my home a mess without resolving the problem. He kept me informed while completing work and was able to clear the kitchen drain from the roof. Further, at the end of the line "gunk"  had come out into the laundry room and was cleaned immediately.  Lastly, he reviewed what he had done and made important recommendations regarding my kitchen sink drain pipe care and maintenance in the future.

The job was done quickly. They went over and beyond what I was offered by any other plumber that gave me a quote. They cleaned up so well, you would not have known I had a plumber in the house. I am very satisfied and will be using them again.

Called David in the morning and explained the work that needed to be done. I also explained that I needed someone to show up the same day due to my work schedule. David was honest and said he had a full schedule, but took my home phone and cell and said he would call me back either way and let me know if he could fit me into the schedule. Later that day he called and said he was able to stop by and fit me into the schedule. We then discussed the work required and he gave me individual quotes before any work was completed. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He is also very courteous which is rare these days. I plan on using his service again and definitely recommend "Archer Plumbing" if you need a professional plumber.

Used Archer for a second job (see previous review on a fridge job). They did a very good job. My kitchen faucet had a broken diverter valve since I bought the house, messing up faucet pressure. I bought a new faucet and Archer came and installed it w/ no problems.

Service was excellent. It was a pleasure working with David. Explained in detail everything that needed to be done and how he was going to do it.

Service was excellent. It was not an easy job, due to it being a second-story kitchen, but no excess holes were required to run the water line a considerable length from my downstairs utility room all the way to my upstairs kitchen. Put a shut-off valve downstairs as well. They were also very flexible with scheduling, when my fridge was not delivered on time. Rescheduling was easy.
