Specifically described materials, which I had previously purchased there, to sales agent. Specifically emphasized that deck is mahogany. Company no longer sells the deck stain requested. Also did not have the stainless steel screws requested, and offered composite type screws instead. I bought a box for approx. $50. At home that evening I opened the box and looked at the screws. They looked different. Then I read in detail the text on the box and found the screws are specifically not recommended for use with mahogany. Tried to return the screws and was told they could not accept them as the box had been opened. The sales people did not know that the screws could not be used on mahogany decking, and sold them to me knowing I was working on a mahogany deck.
