M & L Floor Systems

I researched Angie's list and came across Matthews review and called. He came for an free estimate the following day and quoted me $95.  He performed the work later that week between him and his worker.  It took close to two hours.  I had cleared everything on the floors, but they went even further.  They moved all my furniture out of the way, even a mirror that sat on top of a dresser in order to move the piece to get behind it and turned a recliner over to vacuum inside it.   I have no idea how they were able to remove those stains.  I had given up.  I am so glad I called M and L Floor Systems.  They have it down to a science the way the two of them work together.  Matthew told me he was in this business for 33 years and work performed surely showed it. My rug is now spotless. I plan to use them in the future for other rooms.

M&L Carpet Systems is the only carpet cleaning company I use. I found Matthew a decade ago through a referral from a local, family-owned carpet/flooring retailer. I have never been disappointed, but am always amazed at the results! His work is impeccable! Unlike the $99 deals you see with chain/franchise business, which tend to multiply 2 or 3 times when the final bill is due, Matthew is true to his estimates. I have referred friends and co-workers to Matthew, and would encourage anyone who is looking for this service to give Matthew a call. I am confident you will be happy with the results.

Matthew Ostroff is a very fine gentleman with a wry sense of humor and a quiet, no-fuss dedication to the task at hand. He and his assistant, who was also very well-spoken and pleasant, arrived on time and went room to room to assess the job and make measurements. Matthew wrote up an estimate and presented it to me at the outset. I gave the go-ahead and they worked for over 4 hours on a family room carpet, two bedrooms and a hallway, as well as two extremely dirty tiled bathroom floors. The family room carpet was so badly soiled and stained that I was fairly certain I would need to replace it. He brought his experience and knowledge and all the right tools to bear and somehow managed to lift out all the dirt, leaving the rooms looking bright, almost new, and smelling fresh. The bathroom floors took a lot of elbow grease, special brushes and solutions, but they came up gleaming. Additionally he went the extra mile because he just can't stand to see dirt! He cleaned some windowsills AND he took out some closet organizer shelves that were especially grimy, soaked them in a solution and made them gleam. In the one bedroom, the wall-to-wall carpet was not lying flat. It was kind of bubbling up perhaps from stretching or from having heavy furniture on certain areas. Matthew's assistant detached one end of the carpet from the floor and was able to steam and press it back into a flat shape, trimming off a small bit of the edge, and then tacking it back down. I thought the money was very well spent and I would definitely call on him again.
