They totally over sold themselves.  He came as a recommendation from a friend of mine to use him as a landscaper but not as a paver person.  I don't think they used a single tape measure and everything my husband and I tried to say something they tried to accommodate it.  Their skill set was just not there and you can't create a skill in the person.  We are considering redoing the job, so that's how bad the job was.  This guy used better materials than someone, my sister had to do some of her work and her guy only used the regular sand whereas this one used the stone dust.  The materials were fantastic but it was the workmanship that was not at par.  He's a great salesman that he can sell himself like he sold me on their capabilities.  He always showed up on time and he listened to what we had to say and recommended.  They were just incapable; their skill is not up to par.  I was very specific and I even asked about his work crew.  What exactly I didn't want was what showed up.  He was verbally responsive but he just couldn't deliver on the work.  He also told me that he was going to put sod and power wash the area after they were done but didn't do any.  There was only one day they showed up an hour late.  Initially he was very articulate and professional.  He came in with a drawing and suggestions but they didn't deliver on anything.
